That video made me very happy inside. Sadly some of that happiness found its way outside.

Looking great.

I really hope this has a better ranking system, as apposed to who has played the most. I know it's that way because to combine everyone's best scores would be too much of a demand for the server, but couldn't you do it different so that like...everytime you get a new score, the difference between your old best/new best is added on to your total, and that is ranked? So basically, it's like it is now, except it only adds the difference when you get a new score, as apposed to adding the entire score on again whether it's your best or not? That might sound weird, but, I reckon it'd be cool. Otherwise it's basically SM (No offense).

But yeah, nice work, I'm looking forward to it!

Man, R2 is looking nice. I have to agree that it needs to use a better ranking system than the current one. Right now, it's only based on how much you play, rather than the quality of how u play. I think that the new system should average out your rank from the songs that you have played. It would probably be complex though since it wouldn't average the songs that weren't played since you wouldn't have been ranked. Oh well, just my opinion on it. Anyways, can't wait for R2 to be released. Good job to everyone who made it possible.

Yes, R2 looks very SM...but in my opinion that's no bad thing. (Although SM seems to be more judgemental with me...but maybe that's my bad synchronisation). Online Versus would of course make it perfect - let's face it, Challenge mode is a little silly - but all in all it's looking rather nice.

You all need to stop saying it looks like SM. It doesn't look like SM. It looks like DDR, which makes sense since it's a DDR simulator. It just happens that SM is also a DDR simulator, so that looks like DDR too.

Also, I noticed that there seems to be a theme choice for R2. I think it would be cool if R2 could implement a theme which makes it look like current FFR and a theme that makes it look like the old FFR. I really love retro stuff.

I've been making some songs using Fruity Loops, and I'd definetly let you use them in R2. Of course the songs aren't copyrighted, and of course they're not nearly as good as SGX or FGJ!.

Isn't it illegal to fake a copyright?

I dont understand, and I doubt most people do on this website how generous this is, besides the people who worked on R2. You could potentionally make so much money on this, SO MUCH MONEY, that Synth wouldn't care about this website there wouldn't be any forum controls. I mean I feel like I'm taking advantage of this website by posting, playing, not caring enough. Synth is deserving of so much more than we give him, everyday he has to resist temptation. Temptation like money, laziness, advertisements, everything... my 2 cents. R2 is too good.

That is how you copyright somthing.. I think you are thinking of getting something registered wich involves a judge's ratification.

Zildjian im sure that if R2's gameplay is smooth then Synth could make a fortune off of it, but the problem is that he is using DDR's copyrighted ideas, which makes it illegal to make any money off of it without their permission.
