paradise (new finished track) :3
I finally finished something else. It's not as epic as I wanted it to be but only because I got lazy and wanted it released. There's one thing that really urks me in it, but I won't say what it is because people don't seem to notice it.
As always, comments/etc. appreciated. Enjoy. <3 http://draigun.teknolust.org/music/2...20paradise.mp3

Wow. I really like the way this turned out dude. The ending feels a bit too abrupt but other than that, this sounds pretty solid. Great job! :D

Sorry, I just find it hard to take anything you say seriously when it's basically "it's generic make something else" (especially when you think pretty much everything is generic). Middle two sentences would have just been fine.

Re: paradise (new finished track) :3
I like it. =D I'm not noticing any major issues in production at all, listening via monitoring headphones. The gated porta lead works well (and it's coincidental you used that, hehe.) The breakdown sounds great, love the atmosphere and the breaks during it. Arping sounds good too. The progression of the entire track seems sort-of the same throughout; transitioning sounds nice though.

Erm.. updated the lead near the end since the melody just didn't seem right to me. It was basically what was bothering me and now I love it. :3
Redownload, please. :P

Re: paradise (new finished track) :3
Dude I'm loving the mixing on this, ****. I really like the synths you used too, reminded me of Mr. Emerson. And I REALLY liked the glitch transition back into the theme, that was sick.
A few things gave me very minor irks. I thought the intro synth in the very beginning of the song lacked reverb, I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not. Also something started me about the tone of your piano initially, though listening to it a bit more seemed to meld it in nicely. I also would loved to have heard flange/delay on those running hats. =) |
