Counterstrike 1.6 or Source

I used to play CS:Source, but I quit playing it for a long time. It was fun while I was in a dorm at college, but now I commute from home and I can't do any LAN playing anymore, and with the firewall the college had, I couldn't play with anyone I used to play with. Come to think of it, I have a lot of games installed on this computer that I don't play anymore. It's kinda sad.

Mostly I play 1.6, have been playing for couple of years, but I have had some pauses for like a couple of months because I've been playing WoW and I'm not really good. I have also bought source but I think 1.6 is much more competetive and thats why I play it more
But Source is just a different kind of game, im not saying its bad, but in my opinion 1.6 is more competitive and source just looks more pretty :]

I play a lot of 1.6 when I want to play with mods. War3 and Nintendo are always fun to spice up a shooter.

If I want a more traditional CS game, I'll play source, just because I can aim better. (A LOT better). I think this is due to the fact that bullets are rendered as actual points, and not merely signals. Think of it with playing with laser tag (1.6) or painball (source).

Rarely on 1.6 but whatever, I don't mind every so often..

I'm always on source because all my buddies are there and I frequent their clan servers in which we play Gungame.

I've played CS 1.6 for a long time. I've never grown fond of source, since it seemed much easier for me to dominate and thus grew too boring. I quit in like April, last year, right when I finally bothered to buy a server. waste of $200 :woop:

I only have cs.s I dont play it much beacause of how its ran and such. But it was a fun game while it lasted.

Don't play CS competitively anymore, but I preferred 1.6 over Source. Mainly because I grew to play it more than source.

Traditionally I prefer 1.5, because I used to play it with a lot of my friends at a gaming lounge way back.

I got to say 1.6 is where it is at. source is much easier and i could be pro on source. well anyone who is good at 1.6 could be pro at source. even though source has better graphics the gameplay in 1.6 is better and more challenging. i am going to play cal-o in season 22 which starts in june. if anyone wants to play hit me up and we'll play. CS rocks!!!!

Well, I don't play CS:S mostly because I don't have anybody to play w/, and also because it's so different from the FPS I do play. (America's Army anyone??)

If any of ya'll would like to pub sometime and "show me the ropes" that'd be great.

i personally like 1.6 better. Source isnt that bad, i like source bcuz alot more ppl play on it.
