I'll test some when I have time. I only do pad files, though. I can't really play many keyboard files, so I wouldn't know how to properly judge them.

So...someone feel like testing the first simfile I've ever uploaded?

Double post/minor bump because nobody's tested my simfile yet. I'd appreciate it if someone critiqued it.

Reserved Post - will edit with reviews.

Blaze (Quigly) (Edit chart) 0.5/5

Gap off by a lot. Like tons. Do be sure to check your files for stuff like that before you release them.
Roll patterns at beginning are actually triplets, like in your Oni chart.
Missed some 16ths you could have tossed in with the jumps starting m13.
Stream patterns everywhere could have been more pitch relevant.
All trill patterns make no sense.
Patterns you used at m42 could have been used at m39 as well.
m46 - again, trill patterns make no sense as there is no sound there to warrant a trill rather than pitch relevant stream patterns.
m62 - this part isn't as intense as the part you used the same steps earlier (m13), so less intense steps should have been used
m70ish - reeeally sloppy rhythms used here. Close, but always an extra beat that doesn't need to be there.
m95 - same problem here as with the streams before, including the trills.
just before m131 - 8ths are actually 12ths.
last jump isn't really needed, but whatever.
You are not the artist of the song. In the artist line of the song info goes the song artist. You get a CDTitle, which is just a small graphic that shows that you stepped the song. Artist should be cornandbeans.
Don't really like .smzip either, but that doesn't really matter.

Tell (Breakdown16) (Heavy chart) 2.5/5

This is actually pretty fun, but still has some errors here and there...
Maybe an 8th during the freeze in m9 and parts similar to it would help to make the steps flow better. There is a drum there that you could step.
still m9 - put a 16th in right after the 2nd beat for accuracy. Same with similar parts of the song.
before m18 - 16ths for the drum, like before m14 would be nice.
m23 - missed a few 16ths on the synth that should have been stepped. Same with similar parts of the song.
m39, m43 - I'm assuming you made this chart for index players. If you intended it for spread players, try to avoid one handed trills (right-up-right-up or left-down-left-down)
Same place - could maybe have layered in the drums during the trills.
missed 16ths right before m46
m50 - hands are a little awkward as there are no other hands throughout the sim.
m66 - again, missed some 16ths
Gap might be slightly off. Holding the Alt key and using the F11/F12 keys allows you to adjust it by .001 seconds. It's pretty close though, so no biggie.

In response to trumaestro's evaluation:

Okay, I'll try to fix up most of what you said. The one-handed trills aren't overly difficult; should they really be removed? Should the hands be removed too? Lastly, is the "gap" referring to the syncing?

Trills -> Just change the patterns so that they are two-handed trills.
Hands are inconsistent. Either add a bunch of hands throughout the simfile, or take the easier way and just make them jumps.
Gap = Beat 0 Offset

Need feedback on the only file that I've uploaded to the simfile Database. This is about the 3rd time I've redone it so it should be pretty okay. Not completely sure though so it'd be nice if someone else inputted their thoughts and opinions.

Again in response to trumaestro:

How should I step the part at m69? I can't tell whether it's a 32nd roll or a 24th roll.

Also, what do you mean by this?

1. 32nds.

2. Put a yellow note right after the red you have in the middle of the freeze.
That freeze at m9 is too long; it should only be a beat long. You can also get away with a 16th after the third beat. Change it to something like this:

Valse de Chaton (-Barista-) 0/5

Good job uploading nothing.

Woops, that's odd. Should've guessed something was up when it uploaded almost instantaneously. Anyways, I'm sorry for that. Re-uploaded it.

Also, I've uploaded another file. Could someone test that one out too?

trumaestro, I've changed most of the errors that you've advised me to change. Only one thing remains:

Quote:
m23 - missed a few 16ths on the synth that should have been stepped. Same with similar parts of the song.
Again, clarification please?

Im not submitting to the archives because I want to send to FFR.

Yo Jimerax, can you re-review my drop by Dr.1010 again. I fixed up some things and I dont want to burden you by submitting it to FFR and you giving me the same comments. Fixed PR and a bit of syncing.

Valse de Chaton (-Barista-) -/5
Decisive Battle! Saruin (-Barista-) -/5

Downloaded both, and as it turns out, both are corrupted files.
Also, next time, provide links so that nobody has to go hunting for the simfile(s) you want judged.

Alice->Dere (Ema Skye) 1.5/5 (tl; dr warning)

Pad isn't what I step, but I'll look over it. Other people would have more experience with pad files than myself.
m5 - 16ths and 8ths for the drums(?) aren't really there. I guess this is just trying to make the patterns more interesting than just quarters. You could maybe get rid of a candle or two by making the jump after the 16ths a left/down jump instead of a left/up.
m8 - don't know why the trill is there.
m9 - first 16th after the third beat and the arrow on the fourth beat aren't there.
m10 - don't know why the freezes are there. maybe to make it more fun. Steps within don't require the player to bend over backwards, so they're okay, I guess.
m11 - arrow on fourth beat isn't there
m12 - Same story with the freezes. Steps within the freezes here would probably be pretty awkward to play on pad, as they would require the player to stand on the up and down arrows and use their hands to hit both the left and right. Maybe change the freezes and the arrows.
m14 - Same as m12 except the player stands on left and right and uses their hands to hit up and down
Steps leading into the freezes at m16 are crossovers. You'll probably want to change them.
Steps in the freezes at m16 are okay, I suppose.
Steps leading into m17 are crossovers. You'll probably want to change them.
The long freeze on the down arrow and the freezes you have on the right and left arrows at m17-18 make crossovers. You'll probably want to change them.
Steps before the third beat of m19 are crossovers. You'll probably want to change them.
24ths in m21 are off sync.
Second beat of m23 - change or remove this arrow. It leads to at least double-stepping.
I'm reasonably sure that m25-33 is just 8ths. No 16ths at all.
Third beat of m26 - make just a tap not a freeze. Should be able to keep the jumpfreeze on beat 4, though.
Third beat of m28 - make just a tap not a freeze. Should be able to keep the jumpfreeze on beat 4, though.
Third beat of m30 - make just a tap not a freeze. Should be able to make a freeze on beat 4, though. Keep the 8th that's there.
m32 - change the jacks.
m34 - Stop is cool. Quad isn't as cool. Maybe change the quad
I never really did like mines, but whatever.
Steps at m35 make candles and crossovers. You'll probably want to change them.
m36 - Steps in the freezes might be awkward, but only the up is to be hit with hands, so it might be okay.
First 4 arrows at m37 are a spin. You might want to change it.
First arrow of m38 makes a candle. You might want to change it.
The jumps in m39 might be awkward, especially the first one. It's at least a half-turn.
Left arrow freeze in m40 can also be a half-turn.
Steps after that freeze until the next one undo the turn, but that's no excuse.
First up arrow of m44 creates a candle because of the freeze. You might want to change it.
Left arrow on fourth beat of m45 is a bad choice. Maybe change to a right as it forces the player either to double step or half-turn or something.
m46 - first up makes a candle, first left makes a crossover. You might want to change it.
m49 has a crossover. You might want to change it.
m50 - right freeze makes a crossover. You might want to change it.
Up arrow at m50 also kind of makes a crossover. You might want to change it.
