Ok, this will not work because the plasma is volatile, you cannot contain it. It would take far too much energy to actually contain it in a portable weapon, and anyways it wouldn't be very efficient, because this plasma is, as I've said before, volatile and thus goes wherever the hell it wants.

So, no, I don't think we even could.
