Posted elsewhere that I thought Bramble Blast was the best song in the game.
Gourmet Race is #2. Donkey Kong songs take the cake for best songs. Without a doubt. |

Guys, it's all about the Kirby and Yoshi songs.
Boss Medley rocks my socks. Brings back a lot of memories. Too bad they skipped the Dream Land 3 theme. Best Kirby boss theme ever. Also, I get a little teary-eyed at Yoshi Story's ending theme.

I just wish you could put your own music in brawl
Look where the topic goes when me and Flaming_Dingleberry stop challenging everyone's beliefs about Brawl. Last edited by Shoe The Almighty; 04-14-2008 at 01:04 PM.. |

So I played as Pit for the third time or so, and he's alright. His A moves are lightning quick, his range is okay, but everything he does looks the same and all have the same effect. His up B is useless for fighting (easily overlooked, I know, don't start an argument), his Final Smash is boring and sometimes not effective (when the other player[s] know[s] how to dodge and is/are not fighting at the moment). I give Pit a B+

Ok?
You might not have mastered his arrows in your time playing, but they can go as far as you could possibly want them to. Quote:
Oh and hey, I was talking to banditcom earlier and he told me about how Pikachu can use his Up B into the ground and go into an attack from there. I don't think it's all that useful, and is more trouble than it's worth, however, I get the feeling that I'm overlooking something. Does anyone have any input here?

If there is very little lag between the ending of the move and your next attack, it could be super glitched. Just try it out. Imagine practically teleporting and attacking at the same time. From my experience with melee and the original smash, there is quite a bit of lag after the b-up attack is complete, even if it is in to the ground. I'll have to try it out and see when I get a chance to play.

C-C-C-Combo breaker.
Okay, so I may have missed it (sure as hell not going back through 150 pages of text and tier talk), but I've been really curious about Lucario. Other than sheer sexiness, I wondered since I first found out about him how well his whole high-risk/high-reward style of play would work. Anyone here try Lucario, see if he's any "good"? Not trying to open a can of worms here, just looking to see if anyone was successful/how successful anyone was with him upon using him. i.e. Did it take awhile to get used to him, how much more powerful do his moves actually get, is it worthwhile, etc... o_O

Yeah he's ok. I played a really annoying Lucario last night though. All he would do is go aerial and spam Down+A so that he would slowly drop and be continuously kicking down, or spam the counter attack move, Down+B. Lucario usually dies though before he gets a chance to be "powerful".

The only thing I don't like about Lucario is that some of his moves have a small range. His up+a smash, for example, will not hit anything unless his hand directly touches it. Really annoying for Home Run Contest.
This is just compared to some other characters who can pull a full 360 with their up, down, left, and right moves. Lucario seems to just miss a few of those degrees. |
