If the map data is there, you can get there on a private server. Example, the TitanMS open source project uses .XML files to code maps. If you code in the showa maps using the other XML files as an example, there is no reason as to why you can't get to Showa.

I think you should work on your reading comprehension skills. I said very clearly that the map data was only JUST added to the data, so before this, it would be impossible to have it available without heavy modification to the client. We had SOME information for it (graphical and mob and sound), but the ACTUAL MAP DATA was missing until the most recent patch.

I remember extracting at .50 and finding Showa graphical data and mob and sound stuff. Could it not stand to reason that people could, oh I don't know, extract from versions that DO have Showa and use that map data?

No, because the only changes made to the client to play on a private server is a redirect to a different IP/IPs. It doesn't add actual data to the client, and even if it did, don't you think they'd go all out and release pirate job, area boss mobs, Ariant/Magatia, all World Tour areas (including ones not yet released anywhere besides their source like Kaede Castle, Taipei 101, Singapore's new extension, etc.), and heck, throw in some ORIGINAL CONTENT FOR GOOD MEASURE. Actually, now that I think about it, if they wanted to do all that bull****, they'd have an easier time just cracking jMS and running things based off of a jMS client (I'm sure it would be easier for them to change a TON of string data to English than it would be to add ****tons of new strings, graphics, maps, mobs, and skills).

And yes, we've had graphical/mob/etc. data for THE LONGEST ****ING TIME, but with the actual map data missing, it's been impossible to go there. We've also had these items that teleport you there for the longest time, but because the map data was missing, attempting to use the item would just cause you to DC. But then in the most recent patch, they added the map data, and naturally, some of us used some of these Fruit Milks to take us there.

But it was literally entirely impossible to even consider going there before that.

Oh and you say they're releasing it in the private servers? Do they have the serverside functions filled in for NPCs? You know, selling things, taking you to dungeon, etc. I know the client side strings for their chats are missing, so there's no way they could do that, but I suppose they could mimic an armor selling NPC onto the Sauna owner NPC to allow players to buy the Showa towels, but then again, knowing the how the private system is ran, I would half expect them to have already added the function of selling those robes to another NPC just so the item would be available.

Soloed pap successfully for the first time and got Hurricane 30... dunno what its worth i hear 20~30m, gotta get a estimate. I SS'd pap halfway dead on first form one time and d/c'd dunno why i SS'd when it died... shouldnt have b/c of what happend last time.. oh well got a nice little SS though =)

That's a rather poor model.

Most people never have their accounts infiltrated, even if you only consider people who have quit the game. Heck, did anyone ever get on your account?

ps it is never hard to level, just time consuming, and even then, the variance of time consumption varies heavily depending on class/level/stats/tactic.

I agree leveling is impossible in this game. I have played for let's say 2 years. and at least 4 month actively. And guess what. I am still stuck at lvl 29, mage.

Anyone got any tips, or links to share? I obviously already have a build but some tricks/tips can never hurt.

I got in the testing for this batch. Hopefully I can leave my main client running while running the test one, because there is no way I could let my account not be logged into the game.

I have OCD, see. If I had a keylogger somehow, not even my unknowable password would save me.

Only other thing I can figure would be to install either client on one of the other computers in the house and run my account from either to ensure no one can log in on me if they have my password.

Not if you use one computer. The test client uses gameguard just like the main client, so running them both at the same time would cause a computer error, and shut down.
