It isn't weak, but it isn't invulnerable either. It dies to shatter, after all.'

Now, add to it and you have the cheapest thing in existence.

Actually I was joking. I think this is the cheapest thing in existance.

Speaking of cheap cards, I remember seeing someone with these many years ago when I went to some day camp.

This can be cheap depending on the context, haha.

Anyways, I never had a pack of my own, but I played it from time to time years ago. It was really the only CCG I tried playing. I collected Pokemon cards back in 5th grade, but I never tried playing it. Maybe once or twice, but I gave up quickly, haha.

Friend of mine once won an Unglued-allowed tournament with The Cheese Stands Alone + Armageddon + Nev's Disc. It was sex.

A friend of mine made the single most abrasive unglued/unhinged deck I've ever seen. Forget making it silly and goofy, it was -vicious-

Every time you played a spell or took damage you basically triggered every 'gotcha' and extra damage card he had.

His sentence for Loose Lips was "Sorry, one spell countered sir, sorry."

Why is the word, "sir" included in that sentence?

Someone warn Devonin that he's going a tad overboard.

@ Chaz: Proper courtesy, obviously

I occasionally take a look at my pokemon cards. I put all of the good and rare ones at the top of my deck. Then I decide "Hey, why don't I go get Tanner and have a battle?" Only thing is that you don't know who Tanner is.

Going overboard? Howso?

Also, yes, because he was the kind of guy who liked being called sir while he made you lose horribly.

I used to enjoy Magic until we figured out that there were many different ways to get godly combos and the fact that people started printing the cards out instead of actually buying the real cards. I really loved my counterspell deck, but hey, ever since people printed out their own goblin decks, infinite life decks, infinite turn decks, elf decks, it got boring.

However, I hear to counter-act that, they just released new cards with equally potent abilities that can be obtained through pre-cons.

Preconstructed decks contain no cards that aren't already in the set anyway. You can get them from booster packs and starter decks just as easily.

Actually, I think it was mid 2000 but no later then August of that year. I had the year I met him mixed up with the year my parents split.

Although it took me well over 4 months to figure the game out I figured it out pretty quick.

My friend was 5 years older then me, so it helped that he taught me. We met through our parents and since in the winter we had nothing to do at the lake, he tought me Magic.

I think I was a pretty bright kid though, I cought onto things pretty fast.

After I went to college, when I came home for breaks every now and then I would play in type 2 tournaments (since type 1 is so broken unless you're a millionaire). Well I wasn't about to buy a ton of new cards all the time to be competitive, so I took to just buying a preconstructed deck the night of the tournament and opening it in front of my first opponent and playing without looking at the cards or formulating a strategy. I was just there to hang with friends so I didn't care about winning or anything. Well, I actually picked up the nickname "Pre-con Paul" and won myself some infamy for making the freaking finals repeatedly with decks I'd never played from sets I've never seen haha. My hobby shop sure had a lot of sucky players haha.

Download "Magic Workstation" You can load in every card from every set for free, make decks, and play with anybody else who also has magic workstation.
