its all really up to the individual in the end for me guitar hero is hrader than ffr and for you its vice versa
its kinda hard to argue on something thats entirely opinionated but i do agree with you to some extent also ENR im talking about the charts as they are not custom charts because i can also make an insanely hard chart for TTFaF for GH and i bet that you couldnt fc it either

FFR = easier to pass
FFR = takes longer to master GH = harder to fc songs. Edit: Who care...... dude that IS the GH3 chart.. made from 5 notes to 4 notes, to be able to play on sm.

I've got a friend who's a major GH junkie, and he always asks me what I think is more difficult between ffr/sm or gh and I've always said ffr is harder to get good at in the long run.

Actually, a good deal was changed. It's much easier than it should be, but I still got like 80 misses. I probably could've gotten 20 misses if I played FFR recently. I've been spending all my time on GH3.

FFR.
Because GH has a bigger timing frame AND it doesnt rate you, it's just hit or miss. Also the charts are way easier. |

Trying not to get too dug into things, I've chosen "IDK" because of the following reaons: FFR and Stepmania have weird and twisted user made tracks. Yes, some are nice but it's only properly fun when you can do what sad people do and show off on YouTube having people call you "Asian", or hear yourself tapping on video and think to yourself "I am the one". This is what competitors think anyway, I don't know what the others think.
Guitar Hero on the other hand, has proffesionally made charts and well done tracks. The only bad side to it though is the fact that it hurts your wrist, it also winds you up when you suck. Basically, both games rock, it just sucks to suck! |

No rhythm game is inherently more difficult than any other rhythm game, engine-wise. It all depends on the charts in each respective game and what each game expects of you.
As there is no predefined measure for what it means to "beat" FFR like there is in GH, you really can't make any reasonable comparison between their difficulties. For example, stick the notes in EHHS into GH's engine and you have a completely impossible file that less than 10 people could ever pass. Does this mean GH is harder than FFR? Of course not.

Well, this seems more like a personal opinion poll, maybe not so much which one is really harder, because even if there was a way to compare the two, people would find one thing harder to do than another.
It's true even within the same game sometimes, my girlfriend actually plays Guitar Hero with a standard dual shock controller. She says the guitar is too hard, but maybe somebody else would say the controller is much harder. Also, Guitar Hero has changed over games, FFR is still essentially one game, just with many levels. Well, I don't really know anyway (I picked IDK) because I've never played Guitar Hero, it's more my girlfriend's game there. |

I do believe FFR is harder. Mostly because when I started FFR, it took me about a year and a half before I got really good (like, FMO/FGO). On GH, it took me about 2 months to master expert.
Also, just a note: You used bad grammar in the poll.
