I kinda fail to see the point of this, seeing as the number of games one has played doesn't really have anything to do with anything.

Or maybe thats just the fact that I have barely 900 games speaking to me. I dunno.

And we are not going to remove your titles, because a million people are asking. Perhaps because we are getting mixed feelings, we will go with chardish's way.

I like chardish's way the best. I'd also like to see a credit count listed under the name with posts and location. If we do get a counter under the names, would it still say things like "more than X games played" or would it give an exact value?

The problem with these titles is that they aren't really titles. They are just another stat. It would make much more sense to display it Chardish's way, with post count.

The problem with titles is that I only see two possibilities in the way they would be given out: give them to a select few (in which case those who don't get them will whine), or base them off of various forum and FFR stats (although these stats don't really have anything to do with anything). So I feel that it is best just to not have titles at all. But I guess I am in the minority on this.

I have an idea to kind of cure the whole "this might become the new postwhore" thing. Instead of displaying the games played, you display something called ASP, Average Song Points, which could be your total points divided by your number of games played. For instance, mine would be 235445305/573(woah!) = roughly 410899. That way, you could tell who played songs and did well on them, rather than who just plays the most. It would also discourage against quiting a song early, which I'll admit I'm guilty of. Also, you could have it start displaying at like 20 games or something, to avoid people playing like one game of CIA Rave and getting a really good score on it just to make their ASP really higher. Just a thought. Not sure how much work that would be though. =/

Problem with that is that a lot of time the games glitch and arrows don't show up or the music doesn't play, or everything is slow-mo. I've had to bail on songs that glitch, in addition to misclicking on the wrong song.

It's a nice idea but people are looking for an easy way to tell skill. Although, nothing in FFR would accurately tell you the person's skill. So it seems, although a good idea, it really doesn't serve a purpose. You're making that number look more important than it really is.

If you're in a coding mood I would suggest putting a list of songs that the user has gotten rank 10 or lower in under status. Or something similarto that.

EDIT EDIT OMG:

Just a little gripe. Shouldn't it be like # SONGS played? You're playing the game but you kind of make it seem like that's how many times you've jumped into the game or how many times you've beaten the game... which isn't posible
