The only problem I have with your story is that you is that you seem convinced that you can't tell your parents what you really feel. Even though your culture dictates that you don't control who you marry, your parents should at least listen to you if you have something to say regarding their choice. As long as you make it clear that you respect their decision regardless of what you say, loving parents should still listen to their children. Even if you get a beating for it, at least they know.

Retard, was the wedding going to be performed in America? To my knowledge most, if not all states, won't allow marriage of those under the age of 18.

They allow it at a minimum age of 16 sometimes though, only if parents are consenting.
