Is there an arcade machine located near you? Let me know I want to play on one and theres none here in michigan

Nope. The 8th Style in Westland, Mich., went away a while ago and the arcade is longer in the mall.

Yea my cousins live in Livonia, they took me there but the machine was already gone. What a bummer.

Way back in the day Pinball Pete's at Ann Arbor had one - either a 2nd or 3rd Style. The sad thing is, once people beat these machines to death and something goes wrong with them, the arcades usually don't know what to do with them and when they stop making money because they are so screwed up, they just get shipped off. Although, for Pinball Pete's, I would argue back in 2000-2001, not nearly as many people really played IIDX (everyone was still DDROMG!).

I am on the verge of buying IIDX 13th though. (for PS2)

There's an 8th style at my arcade in Colorado Springs, but it's not working right now because the monitor's not working.

There's an old ass 8th-style about 30 minutes from where I live. When I go to that arcade, though, it's normally for the pop'n.

Yeah, I'd rather hit the Pop'n 14 that is 20 minutes down the road than drive an hour and a half for 8th Style.

Okay, I just got Beatmania 11th RED.
I suck at it, but its crazy fun.
Anyone want to give some hand position pointers?

^ whatever feels the most comfortable is the best, idealy though you wanna have 4 fingers on 4 keys and 3 on the other and then scratch when need be with your pinky finger.

EDIT: IIDX red is easily my favorite game in the series for now.. cant wait untill GOLD comes out for the ps2.

there never was a pc version for sale officially, just keyboard mania. theres a couple of flash games and some SM style emulators though, you really should get a controller if you can figure out how to use em though.
