Can I enter with the arrows on my sig? I munipulated the top row into the bottom row using photoshop.

Edit: Removed the arrows from my sig, and added them to this post.

awww. yes i completely understand coco beans. If you'd like some reassurance, I will not be bothered to post pics used to create the background..pic where i got the wolf, the tree. etc. Just ask. it's not an issue.

And yeah, I'm in the contest, but I SERIOUSLY doubt that I'll be able to finish or even come close to finishing. I'd say to pull me outta the running, but I'll stay in just in case.

Wow.. I had thought you just manipulated 2 or 3 pictures, I seriously thought it was just background, wolf and a little something else put together. Nice. ^^ Your stuff is better than the things I'm used to seeing on DevArt.

And I didn't mean to accuse you of art theft, and I'm sorry if I've offended you (really, really sorry, I didn't mean to so anything of the sort) it's just, I wasn't sure whether you seriously HAD created that whole image from scratch (drawn, then coloured - I've seen some artists do that) or if it was photomanipulation.

And if it was photomanipulation - and.. lol it is - there was the issue of what images you used, how much work there was involved on your part and whether it's valid for the contest. So that was just kinda my train of thought when I posted. But now I am fully convinced that you did do it, and that you have teh skillz.

Anyways, good luck! If you have a site I'd love to see more of your art!

:P I used more to make..other versions. I made 3 different backgrounds, one totally different picture and went through cutting about 5 wolves out until I ended with this one. But thank you very much. i'm glad I still have it after my 6 month break. XD

Sorry about the double post:

My entry (if I can!)

Sorry about it being dark. My Photoshop makes it darker than it really is when you save it.

Upped the brightness but it looks crappy than it already is. :P

Pictures I used:

Sniper, You can just barely see his outline in the woods. (Yes it's from Ghost Recon)

The Forest, Basically the Background.

The focus, It's a guy from VietCong.

The rest was All done from scratch. BTW, Handrawn Flashlight = Ownage Bitches.

i do beleive that we've all have just been pwnd.

how did you make it look all splintery o master? did you just make one or two splinters and duplicate them a million and a half times? (simplified a whoooole bunnch)

That wasn't a photoshop-based image. That's not a brush or anything.

It's an Apophysis image, meaning a fractal. Actually, two mutations of a similar formula. One mutation is the weird splinters that you see, and the other is the shiny stuff. Here's what I mean:

And then I combined them and made them fancy in Paint Shop Pro using masks and shit.

Edit: Oer, I just noticed this sorta makes it sound like I didn't make the images. I most definitely made them... just wanted something fancier than a straight fractal.
