Guardian: No I don't tap anything in Guitar hero other than the start of TTFAF. I just anchor the lower note and jackhammer my index finger as fast as I possibly can, and I usually hit the trills at the end haha.

The solo on TTFAF isn't my problem. I can pass that easily. I failed near the end the only time I actually got that far, which sucked. I usually die somewhere after the intro in the jacks due to lack of SP and my hand being tired. I get the first one since it's easy to combo the start, but then I have to last until the next two easy ones from the sustains, which is hard since there are a lot of long jacks between there.

So the 1-handed intro combo was a fluke or something?
I do the same for trills. That was my GH epiphany, lol.

So I beat TTFAF and TDWDTG both for the first time tonight. It was nice. My Nana and aunt were watching; an audience makes you feel kinda proud.

So I've beaten every song in RB and GH3.
Only song left is Jordan

Any tips? I can make it to 60% if I use SP at the right time.

I could probably do this song in GH3, but GH2 is so different. =/
I just can't do HO/POs.

Oh yeah, downgraded to rank 400 in FFR today, lol.

What the hell. I remember when I was terrible at mauvais garcon. I just FC'd it first try today with hardly any effort at all >__>

However, my score was only 398k. Holy cow my path must have sucked lmao.

Also fc'd impulse first try today, with the right path thankfully. So random D: I almost got fcpremix too.

I can also do the start of CoD without tapping now

So if big breaks lead to improvements I'll stop playing TTFAF for awhile. Realistically I should be able to break 800k but my combo breakers seem to be from bad habit more than anything.

So I just 5*'d One and Cliffs of Dover.
I also just 4*'d Raining Blood.

I know the path for Raining Blood, but I'm just not good enough at it.

I can do up to mosh 1, and get the 3 sp phrases with close to a 300 note streak. Then I miss 5 to 10 times in mosh 1. I can't do the part after it to save my life, so I miss that sp phrase. I can combo from here until the (R + G) R Y B O etc. part. Sometimes I'll get that phrase, but I usually miss 10 to 20 times until the green chugging. I can get the green chugging 9/10 times, and then I get like -30 at the solo.

Any tips on what I should work on combo'ing?

No, I saw somewhere else that The Answer (whoever they are) is going to be on. Apparently, they beat 200 other groups for 1 open slot for next GH (hopefully GH4, as others say it)

And I was mostly referring to DS, but Beatles won't do that good.

TTFAF: 415k (heck im such a noob at this song)
COD: friggin 1xxk but still 5 star i think
One: 464k i can get this better if i work on it
NoB: 47xk I didn't even see it coming
RB: 189k wtf..... only 4*. I only need to 5* this in order to have all 5* in setlist... - -"

oh and reached 10 mil today. Currently: 10.1 mil. I am happy for the first time.

one question: can anyone tell me the path for 362k in My Name is Jonas? I only have 361k. (just curious)

You can get the 5* really easily with only getting the verse down (part after the mosh), which is significantly easier than the mosh. The mosh is a giant pain in the ass because in order to FC it you have to strum minimally, and preferably only on the strum notes or you're incredibly high risk for overstrums, which will completely destroy the run even if your fretting is perfect.

The path to 5* while doing as poorly as you feel like in the mosh and flood --> Initiate with 4 sp after you grab the one in the verse after the mosh, and then initiate in the chorus. You can get like 70% in the Mosh and flood score over 270k with this method if you combo the verse, since that's where almost all the points come from until you combo the Mosh where you'll jump up to over 300k.

Chris Chike (iamchris4life) is now recognized by Guinness World Records for the highest score in TTFaF. He's even in the CBS news.

Old news. Not to mention his personal best is quite a bit higher than the official record.

Though he better keep practicing, otherwise jnukes is going to steal the prize. I wouldn't be surprised if he is the first to FC one and beat Chris's TTFAF score now that he can tap all of the hard sections including the snake almost consistently.
