Bynary. Stop being a loser. If he is against items, but they are still in the game, that doesn't mean he is going to not use them, because he is at a huge disadvantage. Learn to make better arguments.

I am not a loser. He once said that "pro" brawlers use no items. He always wants a duel without items, so if this is so, then he should just not use them. Just because they are there doesn't mean you have to use them.

He likes dueling better without items, but if the brawl has to have items, he will duel with items, because if he didn't he would get "owned" or whatever. Items are obviously a huge advantage and an uneven system in Brawl. Even if both players are fighting with items, someone can get a cheap item and win just based off of that, which is why he prefers fighting without items, because it shows who actually has skill, instead of luck at getting cheap items. However, if one person is using items and one person isn't, that's more of a disadvantage, so if one person ABSOLUTELY HAS to use items, then he will too, because if he didn't, he would be at a huge disadvantage.

Kirby615 wtf you're good XD. Last time we played i guess you were having an off day or something cuz you beat my lucas which irritated me lol. Lucas is my new main but i had a hard time figuring out your movements. We definitely need to play some more cuz i learned a lot from those matches. I've been trying to tinker with marth a little bit but haven't gotten him down but his movements are hard to time online because of the minor lag which makes a big difference in his game. I feel sorry for marth mains . Jigglypuff also tends to have this problem online which is why i can't play nearly as well as i do otherwise.

Precisely. I was simply making my point. Items can give a huge advantage, but if both people have access to the same items, then I would not consider it a "huge" disadvantage, though it can be overwhelmingly advantageous to those who get powerful items like Final Smashes. If anything, if you want a "fair" duel, then allow final smashes and nothing else; I think items make a duel interesting. In addition, it adds an interesting tactical advantage that can be exploited for your use. So, in a way, items are even more pro then without.

Final smashes fair? So you think one hit kills that are extremely easy to execute are fair? I guess i'm missing something.

I was actually just still getting used to the game that day xD. I don't really have a set pattern of fighting, I just do what I think is best at the time. I know a lot of people come up with strategies and set moves, but I find that rather boring and it leaves a person too open for attacks. I'll be able to play in like 15 minutes, I just really needed a break from the game xD.

It is easier with some characters to make it across the screen in time before other characters and deliver blows onto the final smash ball effective enough to where it becomes unadvantageous. ROB is a perfect example as he can fly speedily across the stage and deliver hit after hit(and with him it doesn't take very many) to break the final smash ball. Not all characters are at the same advantage as some are more maneuverable than others.

Who wants to brawl. I've been without wifi for 2 days and now have it back. I NEED MOAR.

All characters have advantages that make them powerful in some way. ROB is powerful and his attacks reach far, but his reflexes are slow as f***, and he isn't fast. Others are. So it all balances out in some way.

Whoa i must've skimmed over this post. I take items off EVERY time. The game randomly selects who's rules to abide to. I would never choose items ever ever ever. Haha you've obviously forgotten what are games look like when it's without items. I can 2 stock you with my kirby almost every other time because that's when it comes down to who's the truly skilled fighter. Whatever dude you're either in denial or have had a void in your memory. I'm done with this argument.

Same move every time? My up B with kirby is very effective is what you're trying to say. Kirby isn't my main anymore anyway it's lucas. If you're willing to take items off and play me a best out of 7 then i would be more than willing. If i really wanted to i could talk about how your, running away and use projectiles and then running away til you see an opening style isn't skill but i don't. Duel me as my sig states if we're going to see if i'm talking out of my ass.
