what program do you guys use to make these songs? besides mario paint.

EDIT: When does the contest end?

End of March, unless some people need more time, not getting as many entries as I would have hoped so I will have to probably make time allowances. The more entries this contest gets the more interesting it will be.

Well, I tried, but Mario paint doesn't go at a high enough bpm, the program is unfortunately limited to 280~ and doesn't allow for 16th notes or shorter. Which, according to Stargroup100's very accurate sheet music, is just chuck full of.

I am guessing most of the people here use FL studios, however I myself use Synapse's Orion Platinum.

haha wow. Turns out looping a wav in reason is easyer than I thought. Probably not as easy as FL though since you dont have a visual representation of the wav. Oh well, i'll probably work on it a bit more tonight.

Robertsona's version is nice but it seems like you might need to utilize more bass sounds, or elaborate on the melody more

hehe ok so here is my v2. Ive used the looping to extend a few of the instruments. I made a makeshift pad with the car sound lol. Anyways, next time I work on this, I'll work on the melody (since the one there kinda sucks really bad right now).

I think the last thing im gonna do is make all the sounds, sound awesome.

Meh, don't know if I have time to finish mine. I'm a slow worker, anyway. Also, it's proved to be a bit more challenging than I thought to write in 5/4...
