I'd have it in the Literature forum; if not, then at least Chit Chat.

![]() I'm currently reading this thread.
But seriously, re-reading 1984, and reading A Clockwork Orange.

![]() God I read soo much Dune... I did the original series, with the 2 additions by Brian at the end. I also read the Legend of Dune trilogy and got so mad at Brian's style that I could bring myself to read the Houses books, which you're on. I just finished reading my first Terry Pratchett book, Thud!. What a book, I was laughing out loud every few pages. Would recommend to anyone who likes fantasy with real-world elements.
Right now I'm reading some Terry Brooks. I finished the Voyage of the Jerle Shannara trilogy a couple weeks ago, now I'm starting the High Druid of Shannara trilogy, still on the first book: Jarka Ruus. It's fantastic, though. Brooks' style is less detail oriented than other authors', and I really like how he's constantly moving the plot forward.

![]() 1984. You guys all in AP Lit as well?
I also just finished The Faerie Trilogy, or something like that. It's comprised of The Faerie Wars, The Purple Emperor, and The Ruler of the Realm. Not nearly as good as the Tithe books so far as Fey lore goes, but they're okay. Has anybody read a book called [On?] The Perks of Being a Wallflower? I can't remember the title exactly, but I need to check it out of the library. I hear it's great. |

![]() I'm reading a book called Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. It's about an alternate reality where clones are harvested for their organs. I have a midterm project about it due on Monday...
