the screenshot of the permission messages from myspace dont show the url or friend ID number for dragonforce so it could very well not be the same profile?

i didn't see a post from Synth in here... but frankly, I'd prefer further verification of this as well. and i guess ffrcontact works, but I'd prefer music@flashflashrevolution.com, which both synth and i have access to.

and like drugstore said... needs proof in the email. from roadrunner or whatnot or management. this smells too fishy.

Make easy files.....?
Cry for Eternity [Beginner]
Cry for Eternity [Standard]
Cry for Eternity [Heavy]

for example.
Yes because people really want to play a 8 minute easy sim that has only 4th and 8th notes that are seperated, **** that ****.

Which makes sense why its on guitar hero?
Better to keep it that way...
I didn't know you played guitar by tapping keys on a keyboard but, i guess it could work if you really wanted it to.
DragonForce:
1. Isn't emo music get over it! It's fricking like rock or really low metal if that!
2. IS an FFR thing for it's got a wide veriaty of arrow placements and patters such as the runningman, stair case, trills, and chainmans; somthing most song's here lack.
3. Do you even play FFR? We're not guitar hero we're not trying to copy playing it on a FAKE guitar we're trying to have fun.
4. If you call FFR pathetic the way you're implying what do you think of DDR and other rythem based games?

First off wth are you going on about?
I never said Dragonforce was emo. I was talking about half the other songs on FFR that recently got added in... I listen to DragonForce myself.
I'm saying Dragonforce isn't the greatest choice for FFR.

1: Your going to have to go through so much trouble to get permission
2: I don't feel like playing files that will take up my whole entire day.
3: How in gods name are you going to make a 8 minute+ song interesting and fun? If you do you must be pretty good (which is why I said for good FFR people, good steppers. They know who they are)
4: Last, if I called FFR pathetic. I must fail at life because i've been playing FFR for the past year and a half. So i seriously have no idea where your going with this.

Also about your flaming.
"2. IS an FFR thing for it's got a wide veriaty of arrow placements and patters such as the runningman, stair case, trills, and chainmans; somthing most song's here lack."

Did you see the CoB file?
Frankly... I would HATE to see a prefectly good song turn into a file like that.
No offence or anything...

I think your getting the idea now..

Dragonforce will be fun in FFR, at least for me, seems like a lot of people have a problem with it.

I love long 200 bpm guitar solo songs.
Dragonforce is popular in stepmania., why not FFR?

I was adding to gnr's post seeing as their are quite a few in there.

EDIT: If it wasn't 75% Dog_E files it could have at least been worth keeping.

Just because there aren't Dragonforce files in any good packs doesn't mean they're not popular in SM. CMDKDFP is one of the most downloaded packs for crying out loud. Dragonforce files are some of the most downloaded simfiles in general... which is pretty sad. Quality doesn't determine popularity.

Gotta say I'm skeptical about that permission. I can honestly say that if it's a true happening, then I'm pretty happy. I don't play SM at all, so to play a DF song on FFR would be fun for me. I'd probably only play it like once, because I'd need the stamina of an old man on Viagra to keep up with it for 7 minutes.

*shrug* We'll see what Synth says, because if it is true, it'll probably be announced on the front page.
