![]() I'd just like to invite you to listen to one of my first "remixes" of sorts.
I'm a big fan of the old modal jazz player Bill Evans. And i love the "Spartacus Love Theme" its a beautiful song, and so i decided to remix two of my favorite things, I've been working at it for a while to get the right mix of not being ruining the sounds of his playing, but enhancing it and not getting in the way with my own added things. His piano has been sliced up and made my own (in a sense)! Hopefully you'll enjoy. (I think its finished - but i always go back and change things or add more ha.) Enjoy everyone "No Love For Spartacus" http://www.virb.com/aloysiusrexford Last edited by AloysiusRexford; 03-6-2008 at 07:27 PM.. |

![]() I see what you did there. I like it, I find it pleasurably amusing.

![]() As honest feedback, that's nice chill and such, but it's true. The large amount of reverbaration on the piano is causing the background to be really messy sounding... Tone down on that reverbaration and you've got yourself a nice chill track
![]() 8/10

![]() I'll have to check out the track with a toned down reverb then. I sort of like the brooding low tones that fill out the background; sort of lo-fi feel.
Thank you for the imput. : D |
