I don't know if it is just me, but any music or basically any sounds played on my computer are a bit faster. I was playing FFR today, and normally I can do just fine on Balloon Fever, am trying to AAA. But for the last 2 days or so, everything has been sped up, BF feels as if it is a few BPM higher. So I go to try this with other songs, and it happens with them too. I am in NO WAY trying to use this to my advantage, it actually makes songs harder for me.
Well my question is, how do I fix this?

Maybe you were really tired the second time.
I remember I stayed up playing FFR all night once and by 7AM I couldn't even break 10 perfects on Free Space because it felt like the arrows were going 100 mph... |

No, No, and No. It's seriously happening. I wasn't tired, I didn't edit my computer, and I didn't lag before. It's going really fast. I'll see if it still is.
EDIT:Nope, still doing it.

hmm...i dont think it is a glitch but it happened to me as well. i was used to playing at school with lag and now i play most of the time at home with different lag and it feels like a speed change. it may be a change in internet traffic. dont worry about it.

proly your sound card.
I mean, for me, when i effed up my registry my soundcard would sometimes 'turn off'. When this happened FFR would go VERY slow... Maybe you have a problem with your soundcard. |

This happened to me once...I can't exactly remember what it was I did...but I remember I uninstalled something stupid might of been a torrent (uTorrent...azure...etc) and like restarted and it was mildly okay.
The arrows are doing a blur sorta thing are they...try to play with Low Quality, my computer can handle like at most 30 games before it goes into InF lag mode (as I call it) and then all I can do is play LQ. |

No you guys aren't reading this correctly. I DID NOT INSTALL/UNINSTALL OR EDIT ANYTHING ON/IN MY COMPUTER. IT IS NOT RUNNING SLOW. I AM PLAYING IN LOW QUALITY. ALL SOUND ON MY COMPUTER IS RUNNING FASTER THAN NORMAL. I DID restart it, nothing happened. Any more suggestions?
EDIT:Also, is playing FFR like this considered cheating? Cause it is making the arrows go faster as well. It's like reverse arrow slowdown.

Fix your connection, maybe.
Was anything else running during the game? Maybe that may be it. Or clean your hard drive.

Is it a family computer? Mabey a sibling/parent changed something? If the problem is with all sounds I doubt it is FFR's fault. You mean just, say, playing a song with windows media player, right?

When your whole computer is speeding up, or blurring that sounds like your computers sound card. You didn't have to install or unistall anything. In order to fix this, you may seek a professional, but open the side of your tower, make sure there's no dust. In the fans, in everything which may be making it hot. I haven't heard of this before "Speeding" sound, but mine slowed down. Your best bet is to go online google maybe and search for exact problems, and see if their is any help.
Most commonly though it would be your soundcard if nothing else. They aren't to expensive to get a really nice one, and the arrows, a new video card, and you got yourself a brand new FFR package. |

Lock this thread I forgot to say. I'm just learning to play like this and if it fixes itself then I'll have one helluva speed boost.
