SIT THE **** DOWN.
|
Got this at the midnight launch yesterday, also played in the tournament, came in the top 4 out of 32 people.
Subspace Emissary is overall disappointing, but I'm still not finished with it yet. It just gets really tedious after a while. Everything else is great, though. Olimar and Metaknight have to be the most fun characters I've ever played with |

Just bought the game. I'm dying to play it, but I have to wait until my sister returns (it's her Wii, just so you know).

Since I picked up this game I've probably put in the most hours of gaming I've done since my years of playing nothing but Crash Bandicoot and Twisted Metal. Then again I have been playing Tekken 5 and Dynasty Warriors Gundam a lot lately, so those games combined with Brawl I've probably been playing more hours than I ever have before. For about year I had not been playing video games to often, but now I feel overwhelmed from all that comes with Brawl. Its simply awesome.

Okay the music in this game is just nuts. I know this is old news and everything, but it really needs to be stressed. The soundtrack is incredible.

I played mine for about 7 hours total today. Had to wait in line at 11 AM for an hour or so, then when I got hom I played it like crazy. I still only have Ness and Marth unlocked so far haha (that will change), then I took a break. After that I played it again for 4 hours...and now I'm about to play it again. Yes I'm an addict. ^_-

I got freaking Sonic and Snake. I didn't know you had to unlock them. That's gay =/
Also this game rules. I got like 17% through the Subspace thing; it's really cool. The movies are pretty good and I know what's going on even though they aren't talking. |

dont be surprised. IMO, COD4 is better than brawl and many others probably feel the same way. i played it for only an hour left the game to my cousin to play. i wasnt a melee fan either. so dont hate me. im not hating on brawl.

CoD and SSB are two completely different genres of games. Both are awesome in their field. You can't really compare the two.

ya i totally forgot to point that out. its obvious anyway. i also left out that fps are my type of games. i like platform fighters like street fighter and soul calibur but ssb is just not my game. im sorry for my biased comment.

You don't need to apologize, it's just silly to try and compare the two to one another.

Our tournament wasn't too great. We had some guy that practiced in the japanese version destroy everyone. But I expected that or something along those lines.
I was disappointed that you HAD to use the wii controller in the tournament and not have the choice between that or the melee controller. I got done playing it after about 6 hours. Was fun . . . kind of. I don't really like any of the characters now. Did anyone else have trouble recovering from side smashes when playing as Marth? Maybe I just did something wrong but I could never recover from side smashes. I'm happy they powered Kirby back up though. Now I just need to get down my "technique." Something funny: Someone pulled out the plug in the power outlet during the tournament. I've never seen so many angry nerds. |
