I think there should be Hall of Fame's for different divisions like spread, index, one hand, and one finger for example.

Stop spamming up this thread. I'm locking this for now until Scott comes back.

This thread has been purged. Apologies to the postcount of Hammy and others who made reasonable and intelligent posts in response to that guy. Warnings to the people who hopped on the trollomatic spamming bandwagon.
Now that those posts are gone and out of the way, I'm going to go ahead and unlock this in the hopes that more reasonable discussion about an FFR Hall of fame can continue. If the spamming picks up again, there will be another lock -and- as many day bans as I feel up to handing out. |

Awww, but it was hilarious. I only got to read through it a few times. ='(
EDIT: Oh yea, getting back on topic. Like I said before custom, having different divisions for different styles is a silly idea. All styles have one goal in mind - high score. Therefore, you should only be playing the style that gets you the highest score you can get, whatever style that may be. You can argue that playing one-handed is more fun or whatever, but then that really shouldn't warrant a list of players that use a personally inferior style to have more fun. There's nothing wrong with that, but there's no reason to reward them with a spot in the Hall of Fame.

Sprite is definitely a recipient of the FFR Hall of Fame Award. He's proven it I would say.

Also, should I assume that R2, Nucleus, SiU, and MeTrivia are getting on that list? I think that Nestlekwik, Hawbs, and Lipid easily make the SiU list.
Well, I think ALOT of things lol. any judge who cares about what I think can IM/PM me and I'll be happy to chat about it |

Are awards for Resonance/R2 players really needed?

I don't think enough people care about either for it's own section... maybe a small spin it up section though.

For what I think it's worth, having Resonance/R2 in one small section would be sweet and then you could have SiU and then a MeTrivia. If I was going to cut something out it would be Nucleus as no one I know plays that.
Tho I guess if you cut some of the list (like, if you didnt have R2 or Nulceus) then a Misc section would be nice. A place where in the event that someone does something worth noting for R2 you can place it under Misc instead of making a R2 section. Last edited by MixMasterLar; 03-1-2008 at 11:25 AM.. Will there be a forums HoF? And I think this should include the top 5 scores (debatable) on the site so far =]

Doing research on R2 is going to be rather difficult, though. I think that game is basically down...can't play anything on there anymore. You'd have to go back through the Brag Board and look for all the R2-related brags if we're indeed to have a category for that game. But I don't think anyone of note really took that game seriously...a bunch of R1 experts seemed to have given the game a lark, posted their high scores, then left.
