Mashing

Okay...Ive never really been into mashing (unless it is to boo out of a song), so I decided to try it on a song I hadn't done in a while and see what kind of rank it would get...

Who else thinks it's ridiculous that people with no skill can get higher scores than those of us that actually try?

Yeah, the whole thing with people mashing that song pisses me off.
Like, 2-3 weeks ago, I had 24.0.2.4, with around 1000 combo, 979 to be exact I believe.
and it was rank 181 before I FC'd, made me wonder if people could really FC that and I was just bad at the file, or if people were just mashing.

people who dont mash always get a better average rank in the end though its pretty hard to practice your p.a. when you mash

Im not much of a masher either. I would rather FC a song with hardcore skills, not mashing.

I know how you could get rid of mashing, someone could program in once someone gets over 100 boos on a song they fail automatically or something... it would never get enough support though
