Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
When you start it up, click on CPU tab twice, to make all the process' that are running at highest go to the top. Check if one of them happens to be a dumprep.exe or dllhost.exe
You could try getting rid of them, to see if that fixes it. |

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
You gave me hope there for a second. I deleted the dllhost that kept popping up (it happens 3 or so times). It stopped, and the game stopped it's rampage on memory at 391,000+. I waited to see if anything would change, and it was steady for about 10 seconds. So I logged in, and boom, CTD.
On a good note though, my computer didn't sound like it was suffering for air, the fan came on slowly and sped up slowly. So things were approaching normality that time around, and I didn't blue screen

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
So I've realized the wizard own anything in sight and are super ****ing leet at everything. The Force Shielders are right behind them in terms of PK'ing/Grinding. Having a full party of WZ/FS and going around PK'ing people is truly awesome pwnage.
Guild Revolution for the win. Also, epic first-GM-I-have-seen-and-convo'd-with: Pretty much I was sucking up to her to give me leethax. Riding around on her board like she was da **** heehee Bonus: hax

Litodude's conversation is just more proof that the GMs are incompetent.
I'm seeing random people who I don't know in the FFR guild. Also, I'm not in it apparently. ~Tsugomaru

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
Who's the gm for the ffr guild? I've been seeing a lot of guilds lately and pretty much they're all newbs that don't know shiit about the game. They maybe have 2 to 3 good players, from beta, but the rest are just trying to member whore.
-Edit- Also, does anyone have another vent server? j/w Also also, nestle update the OP >.> ty~

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
Have any Bladers out there gotten the 1st Battle Mode "Illusionist"? I don't understand it. It says "Enables player to do a supersonic attack on target", but all it seems like to me is a weaker version of Aura Mode. Am I doing something wrong??
PS - I would like to join the guild, but I see you all play on the Mercury server. I play on Venus server and my character can't transfer to there :/ |

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
I found a pretty sweet forum based discussion of people who played either the EU or Korean version of the game and had really high level chars.
Apparently leveling up sword or magic skill raises your base stats as well as giving you access to more basic char upgrades D= I'm grinding sword skill as a mage and it's taking AGES. |

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
I hear a lot of people say they have high level characters. For example:
"I have a high level character on some other client that you can't access, therefore, I can safely say you are ksing me and now get out of the spot I want even though you were here before. Besides, you are frustrating me when you do most of the damage and get most of the last hits." ~Tsugomaru

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
Someone explain to me how using skills works? Do I have to use a certain amount in Novice to move to the next skills?

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
When you use a skill it goes up on it's own XP based on usage i suppose, when you hit whatever/11 or whatever/42 it goes up in rank and gives you a small stat boost, while also allowing you access to more skills
Before apprentice sword skill (wizard) After hitting 11/11 Last edited by Seinken; 02-7-2008 at 10:51 AM.. |

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
I'll explain it...
As you use your skills, you will get points to use to increase your skills. The number on the left is how many point you currently have, and the one on the right is the number you need to rank up that skill set. Be it sword or magic, or whatever. When you go to an instructor, it will say Novice near the top with an arrow on the right and left. If you click on the arrows, you can scroll through the different ranks you need to be to learn them. If that still doesn't help, I'll post a few screens explaining it. Sup Mac? |

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
Well I understood this.
Use skills = Skill EXP rises = Skill Level up = +1 Skill Point The thing I don't know what to do is..with the actual skill POINTS I receive. Am I able to save them for apprentice or do they need to be used BEFORE on the Novice skills?

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
Endgame there are potions you can buy that extract the base stat (str or dex) i guess, and when you have these bonus stats at end game you can beef the hell out of your Int, plus you get to use the advanced sword skills like dash, which is pretty useful.
