Default The most violent..

..game you've ever played?

Now honstely, most of us have played a video game with some kind of violence..Hell, almost every game people play can be violent in some way..its just to what extent.

I consider Postal 2 to be the most violent game I've ever played, GTA 3 coming in at a close second.

Doom III is the goriest. By far. I have yet to see a game come close to rivaling the amount of gore that game has.

The most violent though? Probably Postal 2, but it's cartoony and lighthearted. It's not serious like Doom.

Thats the first I've heard of the SH series accociated with violence..

Pure freakishness? Then I'd run headfirst into Silent Hill..But it seemed to try to get you to jump out of your seat enough to stop playing, re-cooperate, and start playing again..SH 3 did have a little more fighting involved..But SH2 had an option to turn off enemies o.o;;..Its all about atmosphere in SH..But to each his own I guess ^^

I don't really play that many violent games, so I'd have to say Eternal Darkness. Or GTA VC

I dunno. Unreal Tournament has some pretty good stuff at times. So does Mortal Kombat. You might also include Resident Evil a.k.a. "Biohazard".

I don't have that many gory/violent games. So those are my choices.

You guys, in Doom III, I'm not talking about the actual gore from the monsters. I'm talking about the realistic and unscripted bloodsplatters, and the fact that the walls and floor are literally COATED in very real looking bloodstains and streaks. I seriously have not seem so much blood in SH, and previous to Doom III I thought nothing could top that series for bloodstains.

Yeah, Manhunt is pretty bad...You can use a wire to cut a baddie's head off and then throw it as a distraction, or just use the baseball bat and smash it to hell.

Oooh yeah.. probably Manhunt is the most violent I've played. Just because of the whole "you're starring in a snuff film" dealie.

I like how in Manhunt, you can stab a guy repeatedly in the eyes with a shard of glass. Or use a staple gun to give him some stomach surgury. Or suffocate him with a plastic bag. Yeah, that probably takes the cake.

Default Lets get old school

Now, graphics may have improved a whole hell of a lot over the years. But violent gaming doesn't mean just a bunch of red pixels. Its all about the context of the violence! Which is why I nominate Time Killers! Who remembers this one?

The arcade fighter with chainsaw (and other creative melee weapon) weilding warriors, who just....went at it. Though the thing that really makes it one of the most violent games ever is the fact that the character loose limbs in the middle of combat...and continue fighting!

Say all you want about manhunt, or postal 2, but taking someones arm off with a chainsaw and the fight continuing....thats hardcore!

P.S. I'm always right about everything, so don't bother diasgreeing with me. (jk!)
