Sorry for the late quote, but I just remembered this. Fox actually was playable outside his ship in StarFox64. Multiplayer only, but still outside his ship, and before SSB.

I'm not really arguing the fact about R.O.B. being in the game or not. Honestly, I don't think he will be because hardcore Nintendo fans will see him in Brawl and instantly think: "Wow, this game has this guy in it?!? Crap!" That's what I liked about Mario Kart DS. It didn't actually mention anything about him until you unlocked him, and he was the last character.

I just don't see how they can give R.O.B. 5 moves, let alone enough to be playable.

Considering it was a CPU that was R.O.B., I still don't believe he can be playable. I mean, did you actually see him do anything?!? All I saw was a little jumping around. Now, why would they let you be a character who can't do anything but jump?

Today's update was useless. Completely unimportant.

Not everything can be spoilerrific awesome. I liked the update. And being able to choose Shiek/Zelda or Squirtle/Ivysaur/Charizard at the start of the match will be very interesting.

Hylian, I don't read Japanese, so it might say something like "you've gained access to the character", but to me, it looks as if R.O.B isn't a playable character because you see the CPU using him in an event mode.

If it's playable, it will only be playable by the CPU.
