The thing is, if you called the Blue Screen of Death the "Dying Blue Screen", people wouldn't know what you're talking about right away.

It's nitpicking, but people remember things in odd ways. Red Ring of Death is what the general gaming public call the 3 red rings that cause Xbox 360s to die. Even if it is just a partial ring and even if it's not really "dead", that's what it's called and that's what it will be called until it no longer exists.

i just had a power surge and my xbox only allows me to sign in to xbox live when im at the dashboard. when i put in a game my xbox 360 kicks me off xbox live. any suggestions on how to fix this?

So I just recently got an Xbox with Creed and Skate. I mainly bought one for Rock Band, GHIII, Resi 5, Soul Calibur 4, Street Fighter 5, Fable 2 the new Tales game and some other games already out like Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon. I'm on the month free trial for live right now but I'm not online with skate much, I don't have a descent enough connection.
