Re: Patriots remain undefeated
sorry my post made you "too didn't long read." anyway, you just implied your knowledge of the subject was there. so regardless of your literal words, your implications were that it was obvious what the outcome would be. that's all.

the game couldve gone either way..... its called an "upset".... they happen sometimes... its not like either team was dominant in this game im happy with it though, as ledwix said, itll be easier on the patriots... :] PS: the intensity is growing with every second in this dallas-NY game PS2: damn, INT.... both my picks for today were wrong :/

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
Patriots will win. Packers will win. Then Packers will win the superbowl.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
Patriots will win their game next week and so will the Packers. The big Super Bowl game will be close but I'm seeing New England winning it all. The Pats have come this far to lose a game? I think not.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
The Packers had the easiest schedule in the league and stole a lot of games. They're not that good. And even so they're still better than the Giants. The Patriots will wipe the floor with either of them. And don't get me wrong, I hate the damn Patriots but they're by far the best team in this league and certainly the best team of the four left.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
Yes, Brett Favre will have a field day against the Patriots' secondary. The Eagles nearly beat them with AJ Feeley and 0 wide receivers with that game plan. However, as with the Eagles, the Packers don't have the defense to stop that ridiculous offense. Neither Al Harris nor Charles Woodson can cover Randy Moss. And even if they double cover, Wes Walker and Donte Stallworth are ridiculous, and Jabar Gaffney has proven himself dangerous (I can't believe the Eagles gave the pats both Stallworth and Gaffney...). Their biggest problem will be that they're pass rush isn't good enough to pressure Brady. The Pack is outclassed in every dimension.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
There is only one man in the league that can cover Randy Moss and his name is Champ Bailey.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
The way Al Harris plays (let's see how much I can get away with before I get penalized) will possibly take Randy Moss out of the game. Especially if he gets double-covered. But all that does is leave their other 3 receivers wide open and Brady has to only make easy passes. The Packers won't have a chance to stop the Pats.
But let's focus on the championship games first, I'm sure San Diego has a thing or two to say about this Super Bowl previewing although they'll be ran over by the Pats. EDIT @ Above: The New England Patriots are an NFL team, and their team this year is possibly one of the greatest teams ever assembled, and are 2 games away from going undefeated.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
I think NE will end up defeating GB in the end, but that's just what I think.
Anyway. New England is just going to be too much for the Chargers. The only way the Chargers are going to win is if we see Merriman or anyone else on the d-line get constant pressure on Brady, even then, I don't think the Chargers have anyone that can cover Moss.If they manage that feat, who is going to stop Wes Welker? There's just too many weapons for the Patriots on the offensive side of the ball. But I don't completely knock the Chargers out of the game. I give them about a 15% chance at this, depending on the status of LT and Rivers anyway. |

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
**** Brett Favre he already has a ring.
How about effing Philadelphia wins at something for the first time since 1983, a year before I was born. Phils have made the world series ('93), Eagles made the Super Bowl ('04), Flyers made the Stanley Cup ('85, '87, '97), and Sixers made the Finals ('01), but they all lost. Philadelphia is a tortured city that needs a victory.
