A trip through my 'hard' songs section

So I've been in a massive slump lately, and these scores are no exception to my general suckiness. But I'm posting them anyway.

Hellscaper: not too bad, not too good. It's not the jumps that kill me, it's the trills.

Gravity: all the goods, boos, and misses and 90 percent of the greats come from the slow sections--even on 3x. surprisingly 750 bpm scroll rate isn't that bad. You just have to aim your eyes lower on the screen.

UpandDown: to be honest I was sort of happy just passing this the first time. I'd prefer 4.5 for this, but I was trying to use 'legit' speed mods.

Keep in mind that this is 4x scroll rate.

I'll try on 4x and see if I do better then I would on 3x... you never know =\

4x is fast.. I've never bothered to try it, because that's 40bpm (+/-) short of 800... but worth a shot.

Yeah I usually play it 3.5, but like I said, I was trying to use legit speed mods. The key to reading stuff that fast is just to look towards the bottom of the screen instead of the top. Focus on either the combo thing or the timing window.

lol, funny, I have a song folder labelled "hard" as well... pretty much reserved for all songs I can A, but not AA... but I also have a "pointless" folder for a few retardedly difficult songs...

GJ on the scores... I can't read fast scroll rates at all... I've tried in the past, having my eyes focus lower on the screen, but that doesn't help enuff... I think it's cuz the way I play, I don't read the arrows 1 at a time, I read them in clumps/patterns (sure everone good does that)... and I sorta flow my way through each section... but if I can't see what's coming up soon with my peripheral vision, I can't make out the pattern fast enuff to react to it when it reaches the "focus" zone... dunno... so for that, GJ on BMR's A... I probably cud barely pass on 4x scroll rate XD...

and GJ on the other scores too...

oh yeah, A isn't in my hard folder. The other songs in there are ice climber and reality.
