I act like a stoner (bad memory, amused by stupid stuff, etc) but I've never done any drugs, and I never will. Actually, I get along really well with stoners because we can sit around and look at weird looking shit and be amused very easily. It's great fun!

^Ditto for the top part. There is a chance I will try out a not-as-bad drug like Marijuana AFTER I complete Schooling (like, after I get my shitload of degrees that I am totally gonna have).

After having read why the Atkins diet works in a newspaper article, I believe that it works. However, I don't believe that anybody should do the diet simply because of what it does to you. Your body's judges how much food you have by your blood sugar levels. If they drop too low then the body starts using the fat you have in reserve in your body. Hence, if you don't eat any sugars (carbs) then your body will think that you are starving and work off of your fat reserves. Hence, the Atkins diet works because your body is tricked into believing that you're starved. But think about that. You're tricking your body into think you're starving. There is NO way that can be good for you, and as soon as you go off the diet your body will see the sugar and think "QUICK! STORE IT AS FAT IN CASE WE STARVE AGAIN!" and you'll gain back more weight than you lost. That's why most diets don't work, anyways. A diet is not a temporary thing. It is built into your lifestyle and should not change dramatically with every new diet fad. I think that a consistent diet (even an unhealthy one) is better for you than repeatedly changing your diet.
Back on subject, I am good at figuring stuff out using my incredible powers of intuition. We got this Galileo's thermometer and I was wondering how it worked, so I made a guess and then looked it up online. Turns out I was almost exactly right.

People need to realize that dieting is not the key to becoming thinner or more fit. Everyone loves eating, right? I love eating. But eating a lot has it's own side effects if you don't excercise at all. If you excercise normally, you can eat normally.

I'd rather keep the 53 pounds thank you very much (I think if I lost that much I wouldn't have any fat *or* muscle left =/)
anywho, I'm not sure if this was in my other two posts, but I have a horrible memory when it comes to anything but video games. Sure, I can study for a test. Will I remember anything I read 5 minutes later? hell no. This is why I haven't studied in over 4 years, yet I still get 100% on the majority of my tests. For say math, if I don't have a formula memorized, I'll just make my own up, I have a knack for that kind of thing so I usually do better then forgetting a negative in some equation they mentioned once a month ago. Kind of sucks for multiple choice test like say... traffic safety, but I can usually get my way through with just common sense. All that yet I can specifically remember snipits of me playing banjo and kazooe around 4 years ago. I also remember the first time I beat luny toons for the NES. I was like 5 then =/. Still remember the credits from Super Mario 3 on the NES... That dog from duck hunt still pisses me off. I never beat the last boss from ninja gaidan... 1 I think, that game was kind of fun. Snow bro's was awesome, I remember playing it with my brother. (Damnit, I still remember the upgrades and the slots between each level to get the letters in the word 'snow'). Some kid in school wanted to buy it from me for $10 but I said heck no. I could only beat 2 of the 4 parts of Wily's fortress on Mega Man 3 for the NES... which is actually really good considering I was like 7. It still took me a while to beat and I just tried it a few weeks ago on the MMAC. Why do I remember all this? GAH. |

By the way, the gaming memory thing REALLY sucks. It's killed all replay value for most games. I can remember where every single missle expansion and energy tank in Metriod Prime is. Even games like Banjo and Kazooe which I haven't played in years I can remeber where every jig-saw puzzle piece is. Kind of takes the thrill away, ya know =/.

I'm the same way. I remember everything about stuff in games, but I forget easy stuff. I can't even remember if I already posted this or not XD

You're forgetting that metabolism comes into play. That's why some people can eat like a hummingbird and not gain weight, where as if I eat say... 100 carbs a day (which is easily feasible) I will start to gain weight again. I have an extremely slow metabolism. I just put on fat instead of burning it. So... shove it up your hummingbird hole. XD;

But I remember going to Abo's and playing Mortal Kombat when I was very young. I also remember renting Mega Man 3 when I was 2 after my mom broke her knee. I didn't know she broke it though, until I heard her talking to my dad on the phone because she was trying to stay cool because I was only 2 years old. ![]()
