Uh-oh, less than 3? I have a crapload of files. I'll submit them all if I have time but you can hold some over if you want. I won't make as many files for the next batch.

EDIT: I thought with watering down my Lunatic Princess file it became more of a high 10, but if JX thinks it's an 11 fine. The doubles in The Beginning of Time are all thought out and layered. Probably won't resubmit that.

Okay... Tass, did you get any of the files I sent you? Because none of them are in the new batch. I refuse to have waited all that time for nothing! >:O

In the batch review thread, how come it says dore next to hardkore atomic instead of my name?

Anyways I can edit it and resubmit it for next batch right?

I have no idea what the hell to do with my files. They got pluses but weren't tested by Tass? WTF.

As for improving them, I have no idea what else you want from the files.

I'm going to go sit in the corner and sulk.

You got +?'s and because there was stuff wrong with your files there was no reason for him to test them.

Quit sulking and go to the file testing thread to get feedback on your files if jx didn't explain enough for you.

Really getting tired of this...responses to the comments on my charts:

Also true with the ending ones. I threw in splits only when the piano kicked in because (1) the rest are barely audible, and (2) it allows the stepfile to rise in difficulty to the climax in the song and fall afterwards. But, whatever, I'll throw them in PS this should get +'d now >_>

Good ****ing lord, I'm convinced that you guys are just coming up with random reasons to reject this to prevent a v2 from hitting the game, even though this should've been accepted over the Silver_Brian dump a long time ago. Honestly, if the jacks were such a big problem, then why didn't you bring them up in any other of the several batches you judged this in? LMAO I've submitted essentially the same file and I've always seen it come back for a different reason, never the same.

Anyways, to reply to your comments, I have no clue what 16th jack patterns you're specifically talking about...they're all over the file. The ones in the beginning (and where they repeat) follow the "half and half" THEME of the file, not to mention they're consistent with the ones used later on to match the triple drum taps in the song. The only other 16th jacks are the ones to the trumpet (again, they fit the music), and the ones on m28, which keeps the patterns I chose technically correct. Sure, I could change those but they make the file much more fun, and do no harm...and it's 90 BPM wtf man. Also, the green/orange note was from a comment rebirth made last time on the file, he wanted me to make that change.

I submitted it in a rush because the batch was about to close as I was making my submission, and forgot to save the changes on the gap, I'll take the blame on that, even though I SENT YOU and Rebirth a PM about it specifically. m28-29 are definitely 12th based (listened at 0.5x with assist tick), and ROFL I changed the drum patterns from rolls to dumpy index-friendly streams because last time you judged it, you said my roll patterns were too boring. Would you like me to change them back to rolls to "follow the drum better?" Actually, I got a better idea hehe.

Hmm, I thought I fixed the BPM shift on m50, guess I submitted it in a rush again (lol, there should really be a bit more time to do redos on files), my apologies. If you listen to the music, there's a 5 note piano sound before the main stream on m43 which is different from the 6 note piano sounds elsewhere in the file...I can assure you that there is no missing note there. Also, it's clearly audible that parts of the piano are NOT 16th streams and it's incredibly awkward playing them as such (have you tried replacing the 24ths with 16ths and playing them out?). The 24ths belong, listen again at 0.5x.

And yeah, I added 16ths to the hihats a while ago, unfortunately after the batch closed -_-, cuz that part of the file was a bit bland...even if this got a + I would still resubmit w/ the added 16ths.

UGHHHHH FUCCK MAAAAN. Instead of assigning jumps to sounds, I assigned specific arrows to tone down the difficulty a bit, but I guess if JX doesn't like it then no vote 4 nixon brb restepping all of big boss hopefully I make it before 3pm k thx bye >_>

EDIT: Holy **** nevermind, since you can't have hands in FFR, there's no way to keep it consistent, and certain parts are literally turning out like the jump placement in Dazzling Soul. Haha, guess I have to dumpify this fyle 4 FFRZ

LMAO I was expecting a RAPE [wtf?] instead of [+?] on this. This is prolly my most unique file ever and it needs a lot more thinking before I resubmit.

ROFL of all the files, THIS got a + !!?!?!? Anyways, the stream and double placement has to do with the layering technique I used, something incredibly different that I guess turned out well...FFR has definitely not seen a file like this ever. Touched it up a bit, though I'm confident that tass will still give it a swift kick to the balls "MAMA meets {Firestorm}" lmao.

Which doesn't make any sense, because last time he said the same exact files only needed the gap and YNS fixed.

Do you know the rhythm difference between (oxxoxxox) and [oxxxoxxxoxxx]?
FYI, () is 16th, [] is 24th.

missing one blue note with the piano (m43, Felys).

Yeah if you are going strictly they aren't exactly 16ths, but your 24th rhythms were even more off.

It's hard to notice the difference between the 12th based rhythm I have and the 16th based rhythm you're suggesting I should have, if that's what you're implying...for the three "o" in the patterns you have above, at 145 BPM it's about 0.03 sec (approx 1 frame in FFR) off w/ the second "o", 0.06 sec (2 frames) off w/ the third. The reason I feel it's 12th based is because all 4 taps (red - purple - purple - red) feel (not just sound) equally spaced apart in the song, though I admit I'm not 100% confident about it.

It prolly doesn't matter...like in Exotica, there's a similar part w/ a 12th based rhythm that's stepped 16th based, and although the song is slower (110 BPM IIRC?), it's not that big of a deal lol.

There is no blue note to the piano on m43, just like in m47 (surprised you're pointing out one but not the other where it repeats). On m45 and m41, the piano does play this six note pickup thing before the next measure begins, BUT on m43 and m47 it's only a FIVE note pickup, hence no blue note.

0.5x with assist tick...If you listen to that measure really closely,

instead of this sound (we both agree that it's not a 16th stream):
da--da--da--da--da--da--da--da--da--da--da--da--da--da--da--da-- (16 of em)

you have this sound (or something very similar):
da-da---da---da-da-da---da---da-da-da---da--da--da--da--da--da-- (again 16 of em, but w/ different spacing. EDIT: listening on 0.3x, it actually sounds like there should be 48ths **** >_<)

(Note that each - represents a 48th)

In other words, that measure has looks like this [00x0x000x0x000x](000000) ([] = 24ths, and () = 16ths). My 24ths are much more correct than a 16th stream.

What kind of cut are you guys looking for on my Fly Away file? I can't really find any good place to cut it... I guess I could after the 24th trills, but that seems like it would be way too short.

the Dream Duel had legitimate sync on the jumps too... it's the exact same throughout the file, to the noise that I only step in the opening few measures. Oh well, I was hoping I could get in a really hard jumpstream song to FFR.

up to you knoobish... just felt very very long while playing it.

coolgamer... if an original file had sync/YNS issues, we likely didn't look for any other issues at the time.

MilkChan... that Hardkore Atomic was submitted by dore, yours is in this batch.

Cristo: all your files are in this batch. about 6 or 7.

i'll leave the jx/v4n discussion to them. think i answered everything else.
