what are you going to do, its like the official tournament. theres obviously the people who are iffy on the division above or the division below.

But to place someone in a division they're obviously not meant to be in with the first round song being incredibly annoying? That's unfair. :\ While yes, there are bound to be people eliminated in the first round, you should at least give them a ****ing chance.

I chose up to 3 winning people per division because as I have stressed far more than necessary, this tournament emulates the official tourney as closely as possible with only a few minor tweaks.

Everyone who finished in the top 8 in the official tournament won something (They got vRofl)

If I give people a chance by moving them down a division... what happens to the people outmatched that were in that lower division because your skill was higher then theirs? If I moved people down in accordance to that law, there would be 3 divisions... Master, Advanced, Beginner. People can't just live with the fact that they may be outmatched by some but everyone has a chance against someone. Go with it.

That's a specialty item, not a main prize. So therefore, that didn't count for 1st through 8th.

Even im starting to get pissed at all the ppl that are getting mad about placements...What happend to having FUN, isint that what ffr is all about?

You're half right. I posted about this in the official tourney thread as well. The thing people can't live with is simply that because there was no qualification round to achieve entry into the tourney, a great number of people who enter actually have no chance at all.

What about people that obviously are misplaced? Sure, I can do the intermediate songs. Doesn't mean I can do ANY of the advanced songs. Where do those people go, then?

The obviously misplaced people have been worked out. now it's just down to the few people who think they don't stand a damn chance because there are 3 or 4 people that are better than they are in their division. Woohoo, go with what EnR said, have fun with it, don't complain so much. If you want, throw a tourney, get as many members or more than I did, then try and sort them out properly into the correct divisions... it becomes very hard and frustrating as some people just HAVE to go with others that make them outmatched due to certain standards.

Wtf, I'm gonna come in like almost last in Expert. It's a repeat of the official tourney -- misplaced so badly that I wouldn't even finish top in the division below me. There's like 5 ppl I THINK I can beat. That's it. And way to start with a very non 3-finger song.
