One Month Here

I played Stepmania for a year before I came here! I say that right on my profile, yet nobody seems to notice. I'm saying it now!

Now, with that out of the way, as vain as it may be (although what brag thread isn't), I am making a thread to celebrate having played this game for one month (despite what join dates may tell you).

I accomplished a lot in my month here; I skipped the "formalities" and got right on to learning the oddities about FFR opposed to any other music-arrow timing game like it. Here are some of my finest moments:

This level tormented me for many, many days - probably even a week - until I finally got it down. Just recently (a day or two ago), a paid it another visit, and re-AAAed it on my first try that day, showing that I had truly improved even after having spent so much time in Stepmania. I plan to improve further. Replay.

This is one that I also worked my butt off for, and I was quite proud to claim a 4/7 Tier Point score with not a single Average, Miss, or Boo. Replay.

Although not a big feat in my eyes, this is a score I posted in the FFR Brag Board during my attempt to AAA the entire Dance genre in one day (I got to Troglodytic Epica, then could hardly stare at the screen any longer). Its main feature is that it was a sightread AAA. Replay.

And finally, this score is a claim only 4 before me can make, making it valuable, along with the fact that there are some nasty jacks, even though it was a fairly easy AAA (around 10 tries to secure). Ignore the maximum score in this screenshot, it was a product of the loading glitch. Replay.

I have my other moments as well, including being one of the few people to unlock {Midnight} after nearly swearing I never would, and getting a full combo of all Goods on SuperMario 8bit Eighties Remix to unlock Starman, but these are, to me, the highlights.

Other than that, I manage an average score of over a million points per finished game, and have AAAed EVERYTHING Difficult and under, tokens included (except for Ice Candy Pop, which I never could find). I also claimed 33rd on the top AAA list for public songs.

Thanks to everybody who received me well; I hope to spend much more time here with all of my friends, talking on AIM, via profiles, and the message boards, and I hope to continue to improve at this game. Thanks to the mods and especially the admins for doing a great job and being friendly at the same time.

That about sums my Brag thread up. I have gotten about 4 hours of sleep these past three nights (or should I say, afternoons), so I am getting a bit sleepy. May be going soon. Take care all.
