Re: I write things, then delete them. Anyone else?
Sometimes if I can't word things exactly or if I realize that I'm responding to/egging on an idiot. I usually don't completely finished with my post before deleting it in those cases, but I start posts and don't finish them from time to time.

Yes.
Normally in real life conversations. I talk to much, but I speak my mind. |

Re: I write things, then delete them. Anyone else?
This is a definite yes for me. Kind of strange how it works - maybe we're subconsciously embarrassed of what people might think of our responses? Who knows...but I do it too.

I never do this, the "Post Quick Reply" button reply is my friend and not to send something I typed would be my phobia and the phobia of every postwhore here.

Re: I write things, then delete them. Anyone else?
That might have been amusing if any of your posts had ever been worth presenting.

Yup, I do that very often. Even twice before actually making this post. Not joking.

I usually don't unless I type up a response, but I can't get my point exactly across how I want to, so I end up delete the whole response and not posting at all.

Re: I write things, then delete them. Anyone else?
I'll usually write out entire responses about things, but then say to myself, "You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about". That's when I decide to X out.

Yeah, I tend to do it a lot, however it seems stupid that I do intend on making a post, then deciding it's not worth it. :/

Re: I write things, then delete them. Anyone else?
Usually it happens at one of two extremes. If I have to think about a thread and consider certain things before I respond, this tends to happen sometimes. It also happens when I read a thread and have an immediate and strong reply to post. After 2 minutes of typing, I look over my post to make sure I don't look like an idiot. Maybe my self-doubt is unhealthy, but this happens to me fairly often.
