Correct, dore. For Nova it's nice because instead of the standard speed-up-then-slow-down-again approach that most people use when attempting to roll out Perfects but getting Goods at the ends (HORRIFYING and so erratic), you have a very easy and consistent approach.

Also, since you're hitting late Perfect, you're technically playing as if there were no jack syndrome with the exception of hitting a ghost arrow

Basically, say you have this:

.Va

<b
<c

A leading arrow (a) followed by a two-framer set (b c). If a and b are close enough, you can hit a and b at the same time instead of hitting a then b then c. You instead treat it like this:

ab
<V

<c

Honestly, it isn't that hard. It just helps a lot for songs like OMW or Nova Pulser or Molto, etc. basically anything that's framerheavy.
I get it now! Okay, thanks, I'll keep this strategy in mind when I want an FC on some stupid jack level.

k thanks

I tried it but I have a mental block about hitting arrows in a way that I don't see them, so I hesitated, thinking too much about what I needed to hit instead of actually hitting them. I'd play without sound but I miss pretty much every 4-framer without sound.

Well I mean the strategy is kinda hard to do on the fly. It pretty much has to be a memorized thing. You have to kinda just "force" yourself to hit things in a way that's a little weird. I watched a playback of yours and you did it correctly in a few spots -- just have to get used to doing that consistently.

we need an ffr training mode so we can slow down song sections and stuff and practice this lol

since i wont feel like playing a minute into nova pulser over and over again only to find that its too fast for me to think about it

For Nova, you want to feel like you're going JUMP hit hit JUMP hit hit JUMP hit hit, etc

Yeah I got ~3 extra non-perfects but a ****ton of averages vs goods and some misses.

Practice makes better. I'll try harder when I decide I like Nova

Or you could actually listen and use some strategies instead of complaining that things are impossible or assuming them to be hacks. Then again you are only 15, apparently. FFR lately is crawling with morons. She said those things to get me banned -- doesn't make it true.

Anyways, the strategy's here if anyone would like to make use of it.

im pretty sure the nova jack would be exactly like this.
(86)6 8(24)4 2(86)6 8(24)4 2(86)6 8(24)4 2(86)
or
(/\>) > /\ (V<) < V (/\>) > /\ (V<) < V (/\>) > /\ (V<) < V (/\>)
stuff in parenthesis are the jumps.

is this right?
if so, im gonna start practicing this method.

I remember trying this method 4 months ago, was too hard so I ditched it. Guess its worth giving a second attempt.

you said......

you said.......you loved me..............

although basing your friendliness towards somebody on the internet solely based on their opinion on one thing makes sense i guess

more specifically, deciding that somebody is an idiot based on those criteria

i submit to you that you are an idiot, since you are an econ major. all the econ majors that i've met have been jackasses, especially the ones who think they know more math than us math majors hehe
