I use WASD + the 4 arrow keys, using just the middle finger on each hand.
So it's kinda like index, but it allows me to do crossovers without my hands jumbling up.

quasar aaa is pretty easy but sdp is nice.

I began on DDR, so I FFR/SM the same way I dance, lol. I'll 4-finger when I grow 2 more legs

I used to play like that, too and for the same reason, lol.

I don't really see anything wrong with it unless you're trilling jacks.

The reason I don't see anything wrong with it is that this setup allows you to do what your feet could do easier than trying to cross over your hands (not that I play that way anymore

).

Edit: I've always wanted to make a 12"x12" 'dance' pad for my hands.

The soft pads for PS2? I've played with my hands on that

It's hard though, to reach for the up button, and to know where the buttons are. Really fun though
