Hi, need a little help here

Hi, I'm booya612, or Chris. I have been looking everywhere on sites and stuff but there are no good tutorials on making cool banners and sigs.Using Gimp. Is anyone willing to teach/tutor me?

Im no expert in this catergory, but I think the best way to go is photoshop. Or even paint works pretty good.

I know that. But I use Gimp. I need someone to help me make really cool stuff for banners and sigs.
