hey there, havent posted here, in a while..... dont own gh3 seeing i dont own a 360 and i dont want to spend my money on the ps2 version if im getting a 360 for xmas, but ive played the full career at a friends house.... its very niiiicee... So I just 5*ed every tiered song in GH3 on expert

Raining Blood took a lot less time than I thought. I probably only played it about 10 times total.

Also got 100% on Bulls on Parade. I'm never playing that song again.

BoP isnt THAT bad. I mean, its dirt easy (sightread fc lol) but i like the song.

I played co-op with ffffaaaacccckkkk last night (He's a top tier player on SH). I played Bass, he played lead. We played Cliffs of Dover (we both made dumb mistakes and got a 4*

), Stricken (i made dumb mistakes, he fcs O.o), Number of the Beast (He made dumb mistakes but nails solo, i make a couple dumb mistakes), Cult of Personality (we ALMOST FC, he gets like -1 on the second solo

), and 3's and 7's (again, almost fc, he misstrums or something)

damn that was fun

I can only tolerate easy songs if they have a very fun solo, which BoP doesn't have.

There's very few slow songs without any prominent solo that are still fun, but most of those are in the original GH if anything.

Repetitive, yes.

Fun patterns repeated, yes.

I don't understand why most of the songs on Guitar Hero aren't repetitive. They probably choose them specifically like that, because almost every song I listen to outside of this game has repeating guitar parts.

Music follows a logical pattern, as I've come to realize over the years. It was never my strong point, but I think I've figured it out. Everything is in sets of 4. When playing a section (a measure, I guess?), you generally repeat it four times before you come to the option of keeping it for another four iterations, adding / subtracting an instrument, or changing it completely.

That's known as generic music.

It takes creative skill to make music that isn't 4/4 with 4 bar phrases. Which is why you'll never hear it in mainstream(ish) music.

Umm, you obviously have no idea as to why I said it.

YYZ is basically one of the two Rush songs just about everybody knows, and that switches between time signatures, none of them being 4/4. Thus, I was not posting about the fact that I played the song on Guitar Hero. Good day, sir. :3

YYZ is in 4/4 the entire song except for the intro/outro which is 5/4.

Got The Way it Ends, so now TTFAF is my only 5* left. Practice mode, here i come

lets see.... ranked 3rd on The Seeker (FC with path ftmfw), tied for 3rd on My Name is Jonas (technically im ranked twelfth, but its the third highest score). Ranked 1st on The Seeker and RYLAH on Hard, with 26 FCs on hard (played up to Black Magic Woman before going back to X for the day. hence, 26 fcs)

Only a couple more fcs till i get Enlightened Guitarist (20 FCs) only reason i havent gotten it yet is cuz ive been playing online
