It's possible for a 4+ minute song to be "non-repetitive", but it is REALLY hard to pull off, especially when you want really good steps for this one particular part and the rest is just (let's say) 8th note patterns.

Just a note to people...

If you're giving your files out to people, make sure the people you give it to have some sort of a good history with files.

Because getting a file tested by someone who's never had anything queued and 30 files rejected probably won't be helpful.

For a stepfile to be non-repetitive you have to pick a good song. If the song is not appropriate don't even think about it.

Yo g4z33b0, didn't I already send you something?

Whatever, sending it again, along with another one.

If the 3-framer is appropriately placed, Tass can fix it up, as long as there aren't too many of them.

tass would prefer it if there were no potential 3-framers in someone's sim. tass would prefer it if there were no potential 4-framers in someone's sim. tass is greatly looking forward to 3rd style and the removal of framers so that we can open up the way ffr files are stepped.

to go back to the first point, tass doesn't like fixing 3 and 4 framers one at a time, shifting notes 1 frame here and there. it's tedious and slow and annoying. tass does not like these things.

/end tass complaint

It's just one....sheesh.... >_>;
And what about the permission for the song? You said Hideki Naganuma gave us limited rights to Let Mom sleep and maybe one other song.

Hey guys! I'm just wondering if it's obligatory to have 2 seconds of silence at the beginning of your song. Or does it just have to be 2 seconds of no steps?

Wait, so would a song with 4-framers (if they are appropriately placed) be rejected now? >_>
