I didn't bother with it afterwards because there is honestly no way to make it suitable for FFR thanks to damn 3-framers. We can save it for 3rd style. And lies, you told me it only took you 2 hours to finish.

If you want to do another collab, then this would be a good time, I just wasn't sure if you'd like the song. If you don't I'm sure Psycho will be happy to. Not that I'm putting bmah over you, Psycho, but he does have a point about out last collab, and it would seem fair to do it with him, if he wants, of course.

I guess I can send you it, and we'll see.

Nah, I'm on to new songs. I'll just release ddx for stepmania. I have some other stuff to step that you can help me on . You can work on a collab with psycho too; may be an interesting combination.

p.s. longer than 2 hours, I'm pretty sure. 2 hours would be really quick for me, especially on a hard-to-step song. I only made that rant because I felt left in the dark after that simfile was not accepted (and it really isn't worth re-doing).

You've stated the trumpet parts in this chorus in your reply (that was trumpet? lol, I thought it was some string instrument. Silly me)

I know it doesn't seem quite right...the solo is the solo and it shouldn't really have jumpstream But there's nothing really else besides those 16ths in the solo...and stepping only the solo would be like lol oh look an arrow *waits 3 seconds* oh look another arrow *waits 5 seconds* holy **** 24ths *dies* so it would not only be inconsistent, it wouldn't fit with the difficulty of the rest of the file.

And you've got a point there; I realized without the jumpstreams, it would basically just be them eighths throughout

hey all you simfile artists you all suck why don't you go back to making files for bad ffr knockoffs and your personal sm collection because your files are all so bad that the actual rhythm game playing community should never have to suffer through them

No, those are 4-framers.

A 3-framers are pretty much faster jacks. A great example of a song with plenty of 3-framers is Turbulence. With a 3-framer, two of the three perfect framers are covered up (the latest perfect frame), and if you hit on one of those two frames, you will miss the first arrow and get an average on the second. With 2-framers, you have to get a good on the first to avoid avmissing. With 1-framers, you have to get an average on the first arrow. lol.

Nobody likes 3-framers.

You can't have 3-framers unless you're stepping a classical song. Avoid that, still.

A song with lots of 4-framers is like Strangeprogram.

A song with 2-framers is Nova Pulser.

I'd guess vrofl has 1-framers, and possibly 0-framers?

omgitznpv - Oh ok I just checked. I looked at 12th notes by mistake (lol). However, I recommend jacks shouldn't be used in the first place. I replace them with gallops. However, if it has a pretty low "BPM" then jacks might probably be acceptable depending on the note values.

Oh and yes, i'm so happy that my sim is in the batch. I haven't stepped songs in a long ass time but now i have 3 more songs coming in and i'm happy. =)
