Just get the 360. It's a system with mainly FPS games, and online is amazing, almost lag-free. I would've told you to get the Wii, but I can see that you don't want to.
And PS3 DOES have the same graphics as the 360. I compared it with my friend's PS3 and my 360, and we both saw no differenve in graphics. Plus, Xbox 360 has a 120gb hard drive now if buy the elite version. Also has HDMI.

(adding on to this comment) and when you go from Halo 3 from 360, you go to the PS3 and see... wait a minute...

2. My friend has one and I don't find the remote all that entertaining...I was half serious about the moving thing but I seriously don't really like it very much. 3. I own a Gamecube and I honestly hate the games. First of all no DDR and second of all they systems are geared for younger audiences. I am also really only buying a system for online play which I hear the wii isn't so great at because the games really aren't that good for multilayer (SSB Brawl...can't argue with that) Last edited by fido123; 11-8-2007 at 05:21 PM.. |

This has to be the millionth time I've said this about Nintendo games.
They aren't made for kids. They're made for everybody. The reason I don't like the PS3 and 360 is that their games are for the 16-24 male demographic. That's it. Even though I fall in that category, who's to say I won't enjoy a game that falls into the 6-100 unisex demographic? I do enjoy FPSes, but I can't stand playing them with dual analog sticks. It's a terrible control scheme. FPSes belong on PCs. However, Wii came out. So far, that's the only alternate control scheme that works. I still prefer my mouse and keyboard, though. |

Ok, then get a 360.
What's the point of asking everyone else if you already know what you want? |

Don't get the Xbox360. Trust me. The Xbox 360 has hardly any good games. The Wii is a better choice, mostly because it has better games. Plus, Brawl is comeing out, which is going to be a relly good game most likely.

I forgot the only games on consoles are the ones that company makes. There are no third-party developers. Ever.
it's a good thing Microsoft has a top-notch in-house game development division right |

Looks like I'm getting a 360. More comments on multiplayer would be nice
@Squeek, Name 10 good shooters for Game Cube right now...Nintendo doesn't like them >_> Metriod Primes don't count because it's all like "Space station, awesome sci-fi...wtf, why the hell am I in the wilderness now?". Even the one that took place entirely in the space station (Fusion) was mostly in the wilderness. I was thinking "Great, it's finally a real good Sci-fi shoot em up now...oh wai...wtf...srs...christ...The space station is where they keep animals in their natural habitat *throws game out the window*" Last edited by fido123; 11-8-2007 at 10:37 PM.. |

Stop asking the people of FFR and just go to Gamestop or Walmart or wherever you get your games and just buy something. Stop wasting your time here. I would've been had my 360 and/or PS3 by now.

To be honest, there is no reason not to get a PS3 if you choose. The lowest price for one is $399 which is cheap when you add the fact that you have a built in Blue Ray player while the 360 has to have an HD-DVD player bought for it.
Also, the whole "NO GAEMS" thing doesn't apply since you have Warhawk, Resistance, Motorstorm, Folklore, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Heavenly Sword, etc. 2008 will see an explosion of PS3 games while only a few 360 and Wii games are barely noted. Then here is the problem with the hardware itself. The 360 still has the highest console failure rate of all 3 next gen consoles and Microsoft has extended warranties to cover that distraction up. However the Wii and PS3 both enjoy success with less that .02% console failure rates. Only negatives I can find with PS3 is the lack on an in-game XMB when finding friends online but it's free online compared to XBL subscription fees and add-ons.

Hey Fido, if you think Nintendo only makes games for little kids, you are extremely mistaken.
There is Eternal Darkness for the Gamecube, hm, wow, an M rating on a Nintendo console? I have never seen that before!! /sarcasm |
