i hate megaupload. i'm too lazy to create an acount so i can download stuff. i like filefront, until they delete your files/your file page.
EDIT: also, i want to make sure i have the right bpm. what bpm do you have i have 155 bpm. just making sure. Last edited by jakeyjake7; 10-17-2007 at 06:29 AM.. Reason: FAT POTATO!!?!?1!!1!!ONE!!1!!! |

thank you for the link.
EDIT: REVIEW FROM A NOOB'S EYE VIEW!!! 1: Always here. oh my god....the song was great for stepping (well obviously) but the steps were really good too. the jumps were placed perfectly. 2: chaoz fantasy. it was pretty good. there were some random parts in the middle that got off sync by like 2 milliseconds but still a good file. 3: clown song of death. awesome song. pretty good steps. but that jump stream towards the beginning should have been like an alternating jump thing, kind of like HOTN with the jump left jump right kind of thing. still awesome though. 4: consternation. basically like always here. perfect steps. but i think it deserved at least one bpm change/stop. 5: defection. another paragonx9 awesomeness file. 6: pac man's new arcade. again an awesome file. just think that after you hold those hold arrows at one point you should have halved the bpm. then kicked it into overdrive at 428 bpm a little bit after that. that would have done the file more good than bad. 7: reminiscance of a mercenary: later today in the afternoon. it seems long and i have to go to school in like 15 minutes 8: tankdick scratched. my favorite file by far. the last line made me laugh so hard. and the bpm really suited the song. more this afternoon. Well it really depends on what you're comparing it to. I'm a very picky and meticulous when playing and making files, so I would have to say that the files in this pack are quite crappy, including mine ({Midnight}, like most cornandbeans songs, don't make good steps).
For the average person, they'll probably like most of these files. They follow the music well enough to be easily understandable and contain basic patterns. The songs may be generic (like nearly all Newgrounds songs), but they have enough attention to gain popularity. However, I'm an advocate of fine arts. For someone like me, this pack isn't worth downloading because the songs are generic, long, repetitive, and boring, or they don't make good steps. The steps are amateurish, lack consistency, and usually don't have a solid theme. I didn't really try to make my {Midnight} steps perfect, but they are well done enough to appeal to the mass public, and contain certain features that make it more interesting than other files. So in conclusion, this is a pack for the average public, not for advanced players. If you like it, fine. If you don't like it, just don't play it ever again. EDIT: WTF?!!? Didn't you just say you were going to add behanjc's file? You even added 2 extra files but not his? Jeez. Btw, I no longer have anything to do with future NKMP's.

Is my file in there or not. I thought you said it was added, but it's not listed on the front page. And I tried to download and see but it said it was corrupted. I'll try again later.

PS: When you get the graphics, can you e-mail them to me? Thanks. I hope the second one will be much more successful. I do now have experience in making packs, so I think I can do a better job come November 1st. Also, I'll contribute more than one file. It was kinda lazy of me not to include more than one. =(

God damnit. I got the graphics before the pack was released but you removed your email from the first post so I didn't know where to send it. I posted a megaupload link with everything in it. You said something about adding extra files and reraring it. I presumed you were talking about mine as one of them.
From the previous page. Quote:
Might be better if it's more successful anyway.

So whats going on?
Are we still adding songs as we go on? Cuz if somebody can give me some good sounding songs to step. I will be MORE then happy to step them, i'm currently bored otu of my mind, feel like making a song or something. I should be like this for the next little while, if not oh well. It could go in the booster? Oh btw, i downloaded it and... you have the WRONG version of Consternation and Clowns Song of Death. =l ( You have the craptastic versions ) Just thought I would heads you up on that. I put the newest ones in the DB. Well they should be.

Yeah. Um this pack is alright. Good set of songs overall, some stuff is vastly over/understepped or too repetitive. Graphics are pretty awesome! Some randomness in some files. Midnight was probably the most overstepped in the pack. Unnecessary BS parts and things that are beatmania-esque.
Keep up the good work and continue improving this! There's lots of great music on NG.

i just submitted a very steppable gabber song to newgrounds. i know it's not top knotch but it's steppable. i might step it and try to submit it.
http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/101835 there are places where bpm changes are suitable too. |
