What I've realized, Rubix, is that you don't have much "natural talent" for things, but you analyze them to the last tiny part, and then execute. For example, if someone gave you an air-hockey table, you would figure out what angle, force, etc. had to be used for optimal air-hockey winnage. In other words, you're just really ****ing smart, I suppose.

On a side note, do you have any tutorial videos already made? If so, where can I find them. If not, make them, and your level of awesome will rise that much more.

"Natural talent" is simply aptitudinal intelligence, which is tied more closely to subconscious coordination.

I do have "natural talent" for things -- I just pay attention. There are plenty of things I am good at where I just pick it up without much thought, but naturally some skills will plateau after repeated exposure, and this is where analysis is key. The problem with mindlessly being good at things, is that you get too accustomed to one given style, and sometimes you get stuck with something inefficient.

I'm like that too, but I don't analyze everything, I'm only 15. HOWEVER, I don't like go on autopilot for volleyball, I'm always striving to improve just a little bit. Example, I had an amazing jumpserve. One day, I noticed that I wasn't serving my best, so I changed my toss just a little tiny bit, and my serve improved so much. It used to be insane, now it's just ridiculous.

There are a lot of things i want to say that relates to what rubix is saying but i think it's better left unsaid. Seriously though that is a ridiculous score. What AAA that's possible to get are you missing.

I should do that for other things... But volleyball is what I'm focusing on now. And only volleyball.

Adamaja456, I think I could see what you were doing wrong in those vids. On the CI, you just needed to hit them about 1 frame earlier, and you could have avoided jack syndrome and done well. On Klung, you were like just mashing the one repeated note, i.e., hitting it too fast. Hit the one repeated note at a constant speed, then each of the other notes is just half way in between taps of the one repeated note.

Yeah, exactly Doug.

Runningmen aren't hard -- I think people read them wrong. They see a constant arrow jack and just hit that over and over again and then also alternate the other two keys focusing on the other two arrows, and not really "joining" the two things together. It is better to look at it as sets of triplets with an ender each time:

Triplet + "POST-TRIPLET ARROW" (hit these harder)
(repeat over and over until the pattern is over)

Makes it much easier to separate. It's basically a bunch of triplets with an additional arrow to separate each one.

I find runningmen easier than the repeated note would be if the other notes weren't there. X.X
