EDIT: In retrospect, this thread would've been sweeter if it had been a blackflag and you were like, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH ON THE LAST NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTE!!!" Last edited by ieatyourlvllol; 10-13-2007 at 08:22 AM.. |

You only wanted that to happen so he would kill himself and you would have had the time to beat him to the AAA. You would be bragging at his funeral.......

Finally. Good job Rubix, even though I hate every fiber of your being, this is an epic score and you have my respect along with the respect of everyone in the FFR community.

Hmm... well congratulations. O_o;;
Very nice score; I'm doubting that anyone else will get that. Ever.

not quite; AAA is the highest possible score in FFR, not the best one. it would be the equivalent of saying thaor AAAA'd guillaume oni since he has the best score. ^^

Actually ieat, I was about to post this one but just decided to keep whoring it instead. I was ready to throw my laptop out the window, I thought I had AAA'd this run because I had NO IDEA I got a Good and a Boo. It haunts me:
Adamaja: This is why I post tutorial videos. There are many effective strategies that people just don't use, or details people just don't pay attention to that would make them better players. The key to the CP *is* playing early, but I don't think getting through the whole thing is an easy feat (I've whored the trill at least 100+ times and I cannot get below 2 misses). It's been clear that my explanations for things have always been correct, even when the community's hasn't. Take some time to seriously consider some new strategies and practice them -- you *will* get better if you do it actively. Just playing over and over is not sufficient. After posting my tutorial vids, a ton of people AAA'd 100 B-Blackout, and even more people were finally able to PA rolls more effectively. People also were able to improve their ranks by not using music, which I have also strongly advocated. I also find it hilarious when people refuse to take advice that advice -- PLAY WITHOUT MUSIC. "No! It isn't as fun that way!" Not what I said -- no music -> better accuracy, didn't say anything about relative fun, rofl, even though I do enjoy it more with music. Learn to play visually without music. Learn to play early (if you're doing this correctly, you can combo anything. Worst you'll get are a few extra goods, but you'll rarely avmiss). Practice looking in different areas of the screen. Practice different hand angles, finger pressures, sitting positions, lighting. Try different screencuts and speeds . Try different songs with a variety of step patterns. It all matters. Last edited by MrRubix; 11-22-2010 at 02:54 PM.. |
