FFR Assassination V3.2/V4
Free-For-All/No Teams/Point System
Number of players: 25-40

Start date: October 20, 2007 @ 12:01am CDT
End date: December 14, 2007 @ 11:59pm CDT
**Whoever wants to run V5, please have it ready by January 1, 2008**
***BUT DO NOT POST THE THREAD UNTIL DECEMBER 15, 2007 @ 12:01AM CDT***

Point System:

Ponts per kill: 10 points
Five (5) kills w/out being assassinated: 25 points

No kill within five (5) days: -5 points
No kill within ten (10) days: -10 points

Prizes:
1st Place: Choice of FFR T-Shirt (ARV:$19.50USD)
2nd Place: 3-month FFR Subscription (ARV:$10.50USD)
3rd Place: NASA Johnson Space Center Collectors Shot Glass Set (ARV:$9.99USD)
4th Place: Space Shuttle Clock (ARV$14.99USD)

Rules:

1. To eliminate a member, you must find them in Video Chat, Profile Chat, or Multi Player Chat. When you see a member, you must meassage them telling that they have been assassinated; typically with the phrase, "[name], you have been assassinated". You must make sure that you and that member are in the same chat as you are when you tell them that they have been assassinated. In order for your assassination to count, you must thake a screen shot of the assassination and either Private Message the screen shot to me or post it in this thread.

Steps for taking a screen shot:
1. Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard. If you're using a Mac, the input is Command+Shift+3. The command button is the apple.
2. Go into Paint (Start>Programs>Accessories) or another imaging program and hit Ctrl+V.
3. Save the screen shot on your computer.
4. Go to an image hosting site, such as Photobucket, ImageShack, or Xs.to and upload the screen shot.
5. Post the image in this thread or send it by Private Message to me.
6. When you are taking the screen shot, be sure to include the date.
E.g.

2. Every member of this tournament will be given three lives. The number of lives will show up in the second set of parenthesis. Points gained by the player will be in the first set of parenthesis.

3. You MAY NOT inform any other member of whom your assassination is. If evidnce of this action is found, you and your colleague will be eliminated from this tournament. NO TEAMING UP! YOU CAN NOT HAVE ALLIES!
4. You MUST ONLY eliminate people on the account you signed up with. If you attempt to assassinate while under a different account, you will be removed from the contest. NO EXCEPTIONS!

5. You MAY NOT assassinate anyone while on the forums, in a comment box on their profile, or over an instant messaging service. The only means of assassination are - once again - through Video Chat, Multi Player Chat, and Profile Chat.

6. In order to prevent people from hiding, you must kill at least one (1) person during a five (5) day period. If you fail to kill one (1) person during that five (5) day period, five (5) points will be removed from your point total.

I'm in if there's a rule of "once you're assassinated, you're out of the game". Also, if there was a time restriction for the game (like at a certain time, the person with the highest amount of points would win)

I really like the idea of subtracting points for not killing anyone

ok, I'm in this. But I hate the, "once your killed, you out." Maybe you should do like 3 lives, or something.

I want to be assured of no rule changing as well, that was one of the more annoying things.

3 lives is much better than unlimited.
