This is how much people love Halo 3:

50+ pages of Halo 3 topics on Bungie.net on it's release (9/25/07)
20 topics per page, so... 50x20 = 1000 topics made so far (approx.)

Wow. Halo 3 is crazy... I wish I had an Xbox 360 and Halo 3.. I'm stuck with the original Xbox.

Oh yeah dude. Sales records are gonna be smashed in my opinion. I haven't looked at any stats lately so I don't know how the sales are going. I was the 8th person at our GameStop midnight release to get my H3. Beat it earlier today. Gonna get live and try multiplayer and rape hardcore

My friend actually loves Halo so that's what he did, at 7PM, he went to bed. he woke up at 11PM, went to his Microplay, bought Halo and played all night long then went back to school. He was so tired today, he fell asleep twice.

Psh, that's not hardcore. Had a senior at my school wake up to go buy Halo at midnight, then skip school the whole day just to play it.

I got to try out Halo and Halo 2 with a good friend of mine. The variety was interesting, but I thought the action itself wasn't at all immersive, and the plot was sub-par.

Several kids at my school skipped as well. The game must be good. However, I have a feeling that it will disappoint many of the more "hardcore" FPS players, given that they have been waiting for quite a while to get it.

Hardcore FPS players stopped giving a **** about Halo after the 2nd one came out. Halo 2 was never any fun online and the single player mode wasn't nearly as good as Halo 1.
