It's called favoritism, no? Something rather prominent here, and sadly not much is being done. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Tass, remove my file from the batch.
I kinda figured out that the speakers built in to my monitor are homo pieces of **** that barely register strong back beats and that I apparently missed some stuff in my file. Maybe I'll finish the revisions tomorrow before this batch is closed. |

Someone needs to step some of my music, it'd make me feel great if some of my music got into the game.

bmah: none of your files were really my call in decision making... please don't go questioning my ability as a judge over your being upset at the results of your file in 1 batch. and i was QUITE clear as to why i didn't play certain files... i was a bit upset at the leniency in judging from both rebirth and jx, and as such, any file where both noted the same issue was auto-rejected by me. i've been doing this long enough to know that if both of my judges tell me the same thing is wrong with a file, 99% of the time i'm going to agree with them and not queue it anyway.
and in regards to silver brian... stepfile judging is an evolving process. we're judging a bit differently than we did a month ago or 6 months ago. it evolves based upon the standards we want to set in our files as well as the feedback we're seeing from the users.

I don't think I did a lenient judgement but maybe lenient about "giving +", because I (and maybe Rebirth) took "overall quality system" for the judgement instead of "bad mark system" which Tass used for the judgement (also I used this long time ago). If I'm going to be more strict on overall system, ambiguous reasons like "not enough good" or "could be better" "don't like much" will be frequently used for rejection (Simfile submitters will be even more dissatisfied with the judgement). |

Just to interject if it's not too much trouble. I wouldn't suppose there's been any word of my AM-3P file that I sent in about two weeks ago? Or is that yet to be judged?
Meh. Just a teeny bit anxious. :/

[Files Tass Wants to Discuss with Rebirth and jx]
k. [Dies Irae - maybe overstepped?] some doubles in 8th streams are a bit overdone, maybe. [Lunar Saturation - similarity in music to Brain of the Moon?] because the original song of those 2 is the same. (Sennen Gensoukyou ~History of the Moon by ZUN) even though melodies are the same they have different song style, so it's definitely ok for me. [Mr Evil - boring] The only conceivavle problem is that the song is a bit too long for intermediate difficulty. yea compared to most embedded songs, it's fine though. |

but mr evil isn't for an embed. i wouldn't mind a cut of it, or if there is a way to make it less repetitive.
edit: the queue is currently sitting at 95. *sigh*. fat lot of good my subscriber week did... or skill token month... lol.

Yah, but I need to know if he wants an exclusive remix of Hardcore Loli Driver. Which I happen to be working on right now.

Even if we keep releasing 2 songs per a day, the queue won't be empty.

this is a waste of space

Okay, fine, I'm cutting Mr. Evil to 2:40ish and sending it back. Removing the guitar solo, and the part with the female vocals.
EDIT: No, removing the second verse instead. More step variations that way. EDIT: Done, that was easier then I thought it would be... Last edited by SulferDragon; 09-25-2007 at 02:55 PM.. |
