I've only been playing since april and I'm decent. Have about like almost 100 fc's and only 5 AAA's. Yeah practicing helps ALOT! I don't use screen cutting because I hate it and I play on 1.25x speed mod. Spread and index are the easiest to me so stick with that and like I said before, practice as much as I can.

P.S. it's good to play right before bed because what you played gets stuck in your head, so you try to think how you can improve upon it and dream that you are getting better.

Yeah, uhm, about FC on Tribal Revival and CIA Rave...got 30 AAAs and av rank 840 and I havent FC'ed those songs either..by far my worst av ranks on a very diff and challenging song...somehow the last part of tribal revival doesnt make sense to me so always lose it around 820 combo..CIA Rave, like Delirium, RunnyMorning, Uber Rave, Z etc. are really boring index songs...if you play spread you are suppsoed to hate them, as I do:P.

In general, I can only repeat david's advice: play, play, play. Use speed mods (first 1.25, then 1.50 was what I did), practice very diff and challenging songs to train speed and do some tricky and difficults to practice your PA. Good luck

I was on adderoll today and I jumped from like overall 1,998 to 1,783...

Still not amazing...
but im getting better.

Working on my AAA stats

But definately... adderoll makes you focus like hell

I joined in February 2004 and I can't FC CIA Rave.... unless I mash. Which still gets me a 2800 rank. WITH an FC.

You may want to try turning the sound off for some songs. Helps me to concentrate more on the arrows. I think CIA Rave is a good one, the song is very noisy and the patterns are hard enough as they are, and you don't need the music to hit them accurately in that song.

Practice makes it all but you can help yourself with screenshrinking or speedmods.
