The ones that drive me bloody crazy are the Monster ones. The ones that go "HI WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN MONSTER IT'S REALLY COOL" and force you to view the ad for twenty seconds or so before proceeding to the page you want to view.

Damnit.. I really don't want pop-ups on the site. Can you check the html source and see what advertiser it is coming from? I can knock them out of the list.

*Duh, I should have looked at the image a little closer* Still, check the html. It may be coming from a different source.

I've never gotten a pop-up on ffr. try installing firefox/noscripts if it's a problem maybe.

Actually I always that Internet Safety Pop-Up which won't be blocked even with my SpyBot program. Escept that one I don't get anyone but I'm planning to be a subscriber soon.

I have an issue with a pop-up from Monster.ca/tribalfusion, just like Tokzic. Every 10 link clicks, that pop-up forces me to watch that ad for a rather lengthy time. And it's not any faster if you click "back" on your browser and re-click the link. Really, an advertisement can't get any more intrusive than intercepting my web browsing and forcing me to watch it in it's entirety.

edit: here's a quote by someone else pretty much saying the same thing:

"This is a new breed of interstitial ads that Tribalfusion is running.

Worse then pop-ups and pop-unders, they insert themselves between the page you are on and the link you click when navigating a site, showing a full page ad for 15 seconds and then proceeding to laod the page you actually wanted.

What a curse! A pock on both www.tribalfusion.com and www.monster.ca for going to such lengths to get people to hate them. Gosh, I hope at least they pay really, really well to convince webmasters to let them use their brand of overly aggressive, obtrusive and obnoxious advertising on their sites.

This is the ultimate annoyance."

I don't have any ads here at all. I blocked anything I had before so I see no ads.

And I have a subscription, so I can justify the few cents FFR loses.

you should use firefox (the best internet browser) it blocks most popups and banner ads.

I haven't had a pop-up once on the official FFR site... I'm using Mozilla Firefox.
