Free FPS? Wow!
You get what you pay for of course.. so it's not like the graphics are pushing the limits in any way at all, but the gameplay is fast and, uh, did i mention it's free? :] it's called alien arena. Links below.

Also, at first it was hard differentiating real players from bots. you could go to this link to do so http://cooldark.com/index.php?Itemid...on=com_wrapper or, when you refresh the server list, just sort it by players (button at top) and check the player list. Those that DO NOT have a ping, are bots :]

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is undoubtedly way better yet just as free.

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |

I've played this, and I thought it was pretty boring. My favorite free shooters would be Savage, Gunz, and Tremulous. All of them have easy system requirements and play great.

lmao. Frames per second? :P i'll have to check out the others mentioned here.. but.. as for Gunz, there's too much lag interference with the hit detection. "i just unloaded all my ammo into that guy, yet there he stands."
